"Well, you are free to stay in the guest dorms, if you like." Sharp told her.
"You'll have access to most of the facilities here, save for a few higher security ones." he informed her further.
"We'll even pay any cancellation fees your hotel may charge." he then said.
"But it is entirely your call." he said further.
"Regardless, I have arranged for a ride back to your hotel." he confirmed.
"Thank you for taking the time to come out here."

"I will keep that in mind, because already the concierge there is an ass." Erica then stated bluntly.
"And if he's done anything to make it that the stay isn't as pleasant as it should be, I'll be doing something about that, and getting my ass out of there." She then added with a light laugh.
"At any rate, I won't occupy your time any longer. Thank you for being so accepting and understanding regarding the late flights." She added with a smile.
"Shit happens." Sharp replied.
"Please leave your guest I.D. at the security desk." he told her.
"There will be a ride waiting for you." he said.
"Cabs in this city are... random." he muttered.
"Sometimes they're good, sometimes they're awful." he said further.
"At least the transportation I provide is consistently good."

Erica just nodded.
"Duly noted." She then said.
"Anyhow, Thank you, and I will very likely be speaking with you again soon." She finished with.
After they'd said proper goodbyes, she'd left and made her way toward the door where she'd left what she was told to and stepped outside. She had a lot to think about, it seemed.
When she stepped outside, she was greeted by a well-dressed male. He was wearing a uniform, of sorts, but it also looked inconspicuous and comfortable.
"Hello." he greeted her.
"Erica Calder?" he asked.
When she nodded, he smiled.
"This way." he told her, as he started to lead her to a limo-like vehicle.

Erica followed and just quirked an eyebrow.
"REally?" She asked.
"This... is a bit much, I think." She then said.
"But thank you." She added with a soft smile, referring to how he was going to drive her back.
"Maybe it's a bit much, maybe it isn't." the male replied.
"Sharp makes sure his employees travel in comfort and style when they have no other means of their own. Ie: their own vehicle." he told her.
"And you're welcome." he then added, as they approached the vehicle, and he opened the door for her.
"Help yourself to anything and everything." he told her.
"Drinks, snacks, it's all free for passengers."

"But why would someone GET their own ride when something like this available as long as you don't?" Erica then asked as she slidinto the car.
"Because honestly, I'd stick with this any day." She added with a light laugh.
The man closed the door, and got in the driver's seat, before answering.
"Sharp respects his employees, and the employees respect him back." he told her.
"It's kind of an honour system, and so far? It's worked just fine." he said.
"We have quality people here, clearly." he added with a chuckle, as he started the car, and pulled out of the parking lot.

"It's definitely a good thing to keep in mind." Erica commented.
"And good to know overall." She added after a few seconds.
After the ride, she bid the driver farewell and made her way into the building. She tried to avoid the concierge, because she really didn't want to deal with him, and headed for the elevator up.
She was about 3/4ths of the way to the elevator, when she heard someone address her.
Someone she REALLY didn't want to interact with.
It was said concierge.
"....yes?" he asked.
"Can we... help... you... Miss Calder?" he asked further, every syllable dripping with disdain.

Erica let out a breath, it was barely audible, but it contained a lot of the irritation and frustration that was there.
"Ah, hello." She said with a smile as she turned to face him.
"And not at all. I'm merely heading to my room for the time being." She added, making sure to keep her voice level, if not a bit on the lighter side.
"Mmmm... I see." the concierge responded.
"Very good." he said.
"Please... DO let us know if there is ANYTHING we can do for you." he added, sniffing audibly.
"When IS your checkout date again?" he then asked her.
"The next few days or so?"
"Very good." he said.

"When IS your checkout date again?" he then asked her.
"The next few days or so?"
"A week." Erica answered.
"So Monday." She added.
"And don't worry, I will definitely let you know if there is anything that can be done." She then said with a friendly smile. Internally, she was anything but friendly.
I fucking hate this ass. she growled mentally.
"Mmmm, yes." the concierge responded.
"You do that." he told her.
"Have a nice evening." he said, his sarcasm more than evident, but stealthy at the same time.
With that, he turned and walked away, and starting conversing with someone else.
And his tone took a much clearer and brownnosing tinge to it.

"Ugh." Erica groaned before heading up to her room, now that she didn't have him there to bog her down anymore.
"I really don't trust him." she muttered.
After getting to her room - a path that she had zero issues treading this time - she sat on the bed and called the one person that she knew would be... interested... in hearing this. For whatever reasons.
"Hey Rene." She said as he answered the phone.
"You free for a chat?"
"Oh, hey sweetheart." Rene said.
"Good to hear from you." he commented.
"Sure, I'm free to talk." he then told her. "What's up?" he asked.
"Everything okay?" he asked further.
"Good to hear from you." he commented.

"Everything okay?" he asked further.
"Well, the interview went well." Erica started, "but I fucking hate the concierge here, and I'm pretty sure he hates me too."
"And didn't you recommend this place because of the 'awesome' staff?" She then asked almost rhetorically.
"Because honestly? I would completely disagree with you here."
"....I'm sorry?" Rene asked.
"Isn't the concierge there Pierre?" he asked her.
"No. Some guy named Davide." Erica responded.
"..........I see." Rene said after a pregnant pause.
"Well. It seems I have some calls to make." he commented.
"Sounds like this Davide guy needs some of my friends to covertly check on the job he's done." he said further.

"Considering where I've been working, I got used to recording most things that I would do day to day." Erica started.
"I can send you the footage from when I checked in, if you wanted?" She then added.
"Or just check the surveillance here, because I know the camera that was behind him was recording."
