I'm trying to get the colour to go down smoother, because I figure it'd be good to be able to do that, but it doesn't always happen. DX
Hair I can usually get it to work out though, which is good. Don't want a grainy look for hair.

I'm still getting used to pencil crayons, so that's likely the cause. XD I can get it smooth sometimes, but not always. I think I just gotta get it 'right'f or me, and my method. If that makes sense.

@Apollo Im Burning: Age: She claims to be 27. Her actual age is indeterminate.
Species: She's of my own creation. But cursed into human form, so we'll stick with "human" for ease. (If you want info on what she is, I can fill you in. I have zero references for the species' though DX)
Powers: She can do almost anything and everything that involves plantlife. Poisons from plantlife? Definitely a thing. She specialises in vines and poison.
Stitches: She never talked for so long (because she didn't know she physically COULD) and as a result, her foster mother was a drunk bitch that stitched her mouth shut. She just never removed them (has them cnipped so she can eat though, but they are more like actually pericings now)
Hair: She dyes it. She's naturally a blonde. The black is added in.

@Lady Luna: Have you tried chalk pastels? They are abit hard to control if you don't use small brushes but they can achieve some nice blending for realistic skintones.

@Lady Luna: I like them alot better than the oil pastels and they are what I generally use for my traditional work. They are extremely fragile though..mine are all broken to pieces

@Apollo Im Burning: She's... well, a half breed between a draydin and a lantha.
Draydin being a forest sprite, a very very not nice one.
Lantha being a water dweller. Think... similar to a kappa's look in appearance (NOT with the pool on the head though!) combined with a shark. They're protectors of the oceans and rivers and whatnot.

Both species are practically extinct too.

Gotta actually design them.... not easy when I can't do non-humans. LOL.

As for who cursed her, the one her cousin, the only family she has, has the hots for. XD

Since I forgot it before.
She communicates telepathy primarily.
