"....I see." Levi replied, after he had calmed down from the initial shock.
"Well... I mean... whatever you can do, do it." he said.
"I've read it all, and I remember all of it." he went on. "Well... all the important parts, anyway." he continued. "...okay, maybe that was bad wording, but you know what I mean." he clarified further.
"I've gotten out of this what I suspect I should have gotten out of it." he summarized.
"And I DO like to return borrowed property promptly."

Madison nodded before smirking.
"See this number?" She asked as she wrote, and it appeared in an almost smokey air.
"Call it. Ask for Vincent, if he doesn't answer, that way there can be a set up to return it."

Levi looked at the number that was suspended in the air, before nodding.
"Right." he said.
He grabbed his cell phone, punched in the numbers, and looked at them.
"Huh. Canadian number." he said.
"Glad I have a good long-distance plan." he commented, before hitting the 'call' button.

The phone rang for a few seconds before it was answered.
"Remmington Manor! Who ya lookin' for?" A cheery, almost bubbly, female answered the phone. He could hear, clearly, that she was rather energetic, and probably about his age too.

Levi was silent for a moment, surprised by the energy in the one that had responded.
"Oh, uh, hello." he said.
"I'm... looking for a mister Vincent Remmington." he told the female that answered.
"I have a book of his that needs to be returned." he went on. "About Conduits and their communications and such." he said further.
"How might I go about doing that?" he then asked.

"Oh!" She said after a moment, "I'm... not sure if he's actually able to take a call for the moment," She admitted.
"Let's find out." She said before he heard her walking off, presumably off to find out if the one he was looking for could take the call. After a couple minutes, he heard her knocking on a door.
"Yo! Vincent, able to answer a phone call?" She called into the room.

"Huh?" Vincent replied.
"No, actually, I'm not!" he called back.
"Your sister needs my help in constructing a very special firework, as her usual device is broken." he told her, as he continued to use his wind mana to keep some components suspended in mid-air.
"I'll be busy for about another hour or so." he went on.
"Is it an emergency?" he then asked.

"You can come in!" Rowena then called before sighing lightly. When Rocky made her way in, she found Vincent using his wind to hold a few spots rather precariously, and Rowena looking over some notes.
"Someone is looking to return a book on Conduits?" She asked as an answer to Vincent's question.
"Can I put it on speaker for you to answer any questions?" She then asked, her voice curious.
"Because stuff gets lost in translation all the time with a messenger."

"Oh, yeah, sure." Vincent replied.
With that, Rocky did so, and Levi's voice came through.
"Um, hello?" he asked.
"You the young man that has my book on Conduits?" Vincent responded.
"I am." Levi answered.
"I'm quite busy right now, and will be for a bit. Would it be acceptable for someone to come to where you are and pick up the book at my behest?" Vincent asked.
"I... suppose so." Levi said. "But... who? How will I know?" he asked.
"Hmmmmmmm..." Vincent mumbled, before looking at Rocky.

"Rocky?" Levi asked.
"Er... all right." he said.
Vincent then sighed, and shook his head.
"Don't give the poor boy ideas, Racquel." he told Rocky.
"Now, this is a very delicate procedure." he went on.
"I really don't think an explosion would be optimal now."

"I'll be there in five." Rocky said with a light chuckle.
"See you soon." Was the last thing she said before they ended the call. She made her way downstairs to her apartment, grabbed a certain blend of tea that she thought might be useful, before smirking.
"This oughta be good." She muttered before vanishing in a burst of flames. She appeared in the backyard of where Levi and Ally were living at, and walked up to the backdoor before knocking.

Meanwhile, inside, Levi looked in the direction of where the knocking had come from.
"....what....?" he muttered.
"That... was the BACK door..." he said.
"THAT'S a new one..." he mumbled, before getting up, and looking at Madison.
"I... assume this is whom I am expecting." he said to her.
"....right?"

"Yup." Was Madison's answer with a light laugh.
"Just go answer it. Sounds like you'll have a fun few hours." She added before vanishing from where she was. She wasn't going to stay where she wasn't needed, after all.
When Levi opened the door, he found someone who honestly looked to be close to his age, if not a few years older, with short red and black streaked hair, cheery green eyes, and a trio of stars beneath her right eye.
"Howdy. You Levi?" She asked

"Come in." he invited her.
"I must admit, you caught me off guard." he said further. "I'm not used to people coming in the back way."

"I'm here for two reasons. One, that book that you have of Vincents, and the second?" She paused a moment before smirking and pulling a small unlabelled box out of her pocket.
"Was wodnering if you felt like being a guinea pig for me. It might help with the whole conduit thing, too. I dunno." She then paused for a moment before sighing.
"And sorry abotu the back door thing. I used my mana to get here, and the bakyard is nice and private, didn't have to worry about being seen... and the door was right there."
