She groaned as she made her way out of the room. She’d just spent the last two and a half hours interrogating someone who no matter what they said, couldn’t keep their story straighter than a limp spaghetti noodle. It was something that was grating on her nerves, and she really wanted to just punch the culprit… or shove him in the way of a train.
She wasn’t even done with him. She’d merely make the executive decision to take a break.
Then again, he’d played the lawyer card, so she couldn’t do anything ,anyway.
She made her way to the bullpen where her desk was, and just sat down before sighing .She had to make some notes, afte rall.
So she got to work, hoping this would be done, and soon.
