"Hmmm." Jaden muttered.

"All right, duly noted." he said.

"I'll see what I can come up with." he told her.

"Anyway, if you're headed to that place, you should go." he said. "Remove all evidence of what happened there." he muttered further.

"....you know, I honestly thought I would find Anna there, dead." he admitted.

"I think what I discovered was simultaneously a relief, and much more terrifying."

Jaden was silent as Sydney said what she did.

"Har har." he replied.

"Maybe I have, maybe I haven't." he said.

"You told me to take care of her, so that's what I'm doing." he told her further, before looking in Anna's direction once more.

"...though I'd be lying if I said I haven't grown accustomed to her being here, and it's weird when she's gone for any extended length of time." he muttered.

Jaden just sighed heavily.

"Yeah, yeah." he said.

"I know... I know. Just... yeah. I know." he muttered.

"Guess people just change." he said further.

".............." he was then silent, before looking at Sydney again.

"Growing up?" he asked.

"You think so?"

"................." Jaden was silent as Sydney said that.

".....right." he said.

"Europe." he muttered, before freezing.

"Wait, wait, wait." he then said.

"Watching me from the shadows!?" he exclaimed.

"You were watching me all that time!?"

Jaden just looked away from Sydney.

"...I'd like to forget that ever happened." he said.

"I was a disgrace." he commented.

"A thug. A murderer. A monster." he mumbled.

"I disgraced you, your name, what you tried to teach me..." he went on.

"........." he then just went silent, and continued to stare off to the side.

Jaden just nodded.

"You do that." he told her.

"I'll be here." he said.

".....hey..." he then muttered as she started to leave.

"Listen... um..." he mumbled, scratching his head a little.

"Feel free to come by... like, anytime."

Just as she walked past an alley, she turned casually to look down it, but paused when she saw something. On the wall at the end of the dead-end alley were some spraypainted words.

The Doctor is IN it read, with the first three words in black, and the last one in green... and it looked like it'd been painted over a few times.

That was something she remembered hearing about the one she was supposed to meet, and turned down the alley.

As she walked, she passed some broken windows that led to the interior of the condemned buildings, but she stopped when she heard a voice speak from behind one of them.

"...you Aila?" it asked.

"Had to move." the person told her.

"Too many people sniffin' around in the usual hangout." they said further.

"Regardless, yes. I'm the Doc." they confirmed.

"You're here to make the dropoff, so let's make sure we do this uninterrupted." they went on, before they extended a hand out towards the spraypainted words.

As soon as they did, water seemed to form over the words, and washed them off the wall, causing the paint to drain away into the sewer grate off to the side.

"Guilty as charged." the figure admitted.

"And where? You want to step into here?" he asked.

"Or if you know a more secure place, enlighten me." he told her.

"Because nobody knows we're here. We do have privacy, but you can still be seen from the streets." he continued.

"So feel free to hop through the window." he finished, stepping away from said window.
