Yeah. i think it's more of a hassle to get the old one out. as my room is upstairs.
my dad plans to open the box to my desk downstairs but carry everything and put it together
upstairs in my room.

@Unicorn: Ditto! I watched my cousins dog for like a year and she was the best dog ever. My cats loved her. They would all play. She’s half pit and German Shepard. Really beautiful, sweet dog. Probably the best I’ve ever met honestly. Sweet girl. Her name is Lydiaa. I helped name her years ago.

(Long story short, I'm doing research for a character of mine who is a witch, and I would like to get a sense of their beliefs and practices.)

I feel that answer would be different for each witch. There are so many different kinds. It’s a very broad spectrum. For myself, I’d say being open, spiritual, earthy, and free. Being centered and balanced. The spiritual aspect really speaks to me.

Same here. I do have a strong sense of how my character aligns (regarding good or bad), but I'd like to hear both sides.
Also, I was poking around the hangout and found some stuff that interests me.
If I remember right, quoting someone should ping them, so hopefully that still works in a spoiler. If so, if you were quoted and are up to elaborating on things you think, do and/or own, it'd be much appreciated.

You can be whatever you’d like. You don’t have to be a female to be a witch. :) Male Witches are called multiple things, but all are witches in the end. :)

also have an oujia board but i know not to mess with that.
never ever used it despite buying it like 15 years ago.

I have quite a few crystals lying around and some tarot cards, but not much else.

. . . I don't use them much, unfortunately. When I get home in a week or so I can take pictures of them.
I bought a pendulum recently but haven't really used it either.

My views on tarot cards, or any form of mysticism is just skepticism.
I can enjoy the aesthetic of things like that, and it can be fun,
but I think some people put entirely too much stock into them as being real.

To me, tarot cards are just cold reading done by random chance.

What annoys me most is crystal healing stuff. It's like homeopathic medicine, but even worse.
At least with herbal remedies you might be using something that kinda works.
