...Hmm well it is hot often....like humid sweltering hot long summers. Not the best for being outdoors at times, but we do have that wonderful window of time where the weather is really nice. But lately I feel like the weather here hasn't been that predictable and we have had some really warm days even for winter here imo.

I am currently taking 3 online courses. Elementary Statistics, Biology, and American History. I enjoy all of them...but Stats will require a little more effort on my part. I am currently looking for a resource that is good at explaining the concepts I don't fully grasp.

Can I ask how do you spend your days?

@Alyssya: My husband says that statistics is difficult, he studied it on college. We both love history and geography though so maybe you could share some of the american history you learn since I only know abit of european and asian history.

My days are spent doing art mostly. I do portrait art, some work for voltra, plus any digital art commissions I get. (mostly DnD characters) Its very little pay but rewarding to get paid for practicing your craft. I do enjoy it alot. Oh, and when I have some free time I illustrate children's books too. I do plan on going to school sometime soon to learn the Croatian language so I can find a 9 to 5 job to support my family better. (I immigrated to croatia to marry my husband, the language is pretty difficult)

@Saeyra: >.< oh, well I hope it won't be too hard for me. Geography was fun, haven't taken it since high school though. I think the closest thing I have take would be Earth Science, we did have to read charts and maps as well are star charts. The teacher was really a fun man you could tell he loved what he taught. If you are ever interested and have time to spare in reading, my US history book is open access online here. I will say that over the years I have learned that when it comes to really ugly bits like slavery the graphicness of the incident can vary depending on who you talk to. I always thought that was kind of interesting.

Oh wow, that is really cool, I am glad that you enjoy practicing. Though I do wish it netted you more cash. Would love to read one of the books you did art work for, I have a little sister that I am encouraging to read...but it is a little hard to compete with things like Spongebob and Mario floating around the house XD. Ah, good luck with your language learning pursuits, I don't feel like I have time to learn a language along with the work that I am doing now, but it would be really nice.

@Alyssya: Mhmm history is written by the victors. Same kinda discrepancies in books about world war 2. Thanks for sharing your book with me I will do a quick read.

Sorry about my book, the company I worked for is kinda small and they only released a printed version. I can share a couple of the drawings I made though. Its about a boy learning to share.

@Alyssya: Its called Ezri and the Apple Tree. Its all in rhyme and the story goes like this: A little boy named Ezri had an apple tree with lots of big, sweet apples, he loved them so much he wouldn't share them with anyone. Because of this he was always alone and no other kids would play with him. One day his mom has a talk with him about how he has been given gifts and gifts are meant to be shared. So he gives it a shot and finds out he actually loves sharing when he sees how grateful people are. That old man in the picture lives alone and it was his birthday so Ezri brought him an apple pie. In the end he makes lots of friends and he isn't lonely any more.
