@MoodyBats: well that is very good to hear. I was thinking about doing that last night but I didn't.

I got to see the great horned owl (parent) take flight today on my walk, but I also got to see the (baby) great horned owl.

@Unicorn: Oooo that is exciting.
I pretty much did nothing all day but watch movies and cook dinner. :vanora_sweat:

I might try to muster up some energy for art tonight.

@Unicorn: So sorry, my internet was out for 4 days due to a snow storm
that took out branches and the large branches landed on our internet line.
So it had to be re-routed.

Our power was still on so we had our heat.
Just no internet.

@Unicorn: Luckily the large branches
didn't land on the roof but it was quite eerie as it happened
since you could hear branches snapping all over the neighborhood.

My land lady/neighbor was kind enough that she and another lady took the mess of our branches to her yard after
a few days of the storm when it was gone and the weather was warming up.

@Unicorn: My sister did.
But the branches won't really get fully taken care of probably until September since
that is how long it'll take the tree people to overall do everything which they have to do already.

@Unicorn: Yes! Arty stickers and maybe even stickers for planner people?
Bullet journal ones as well. But in my style. Hoping. It is still in the idea stage....I just need that fire to work and create.

It seems it is easier to talk about it than actually to work on it.
My weekend was very busy. Last weekend was a con called Anime Central and it was a easy going fun weekend! I got to see two concerts and I loved each one.

How was your weekend? Sorry for the late reply! I just got very overwhelmed >//<

@MoodyBats: My art varies as well.
At the moment it seems more cute anime style than realistic. I want to do more figure drawings.
Thinking about it. XD

Yeah!!! Actually that is pretty small or I think pretty good? I think my laptop is one of the last 17" mac made MacBooks pros. My laptop is actually pretty decent but getting up there in tech years.

Oh! You use medibang? I heard good things about that one. I like the look of those blends!
Try setting the brush to 60% Opacity? And then to 20%? like a 60% Opal - 20% flow? I am not sure if medibang works the same as photoshop thou 0c0"

You should use what you are not used to! You might find something you like with it or experiment when you can 0//0";;

2am is early for me. However I need to change that! I can''t keep going to bed when the sun comes up.
I am not in high school anymore and it really does mess with your mental health like no body business!
Do post-it note sized art challenges? You can draw but it takes a small amount of time maybe?
Or it is smaller piece to work/fill in? Also you can bring it anywhere you go.

@Shampoo: For me 15" is pretty big and the biggest I can go for laptops.
But my tablet is quite long so I struggle with a good set up.

Medibang does not work like Photoshop, it does not have a flow or anything like that.
It has very small and limited options. And not or hardly any texture brushes.
So I have been considering buying clip studio paint when I make a little more money from my job.

I honestly find it hard to adjust to brushes other than simple brushes.
And since I am just now learning to paint, I rather understand to use simple brushes before
moving on to bigger things like texture brushes. I like many brushes but it's kind of a huge difference between just practice blending colors
and actually coloring with a brush.

I don't draw traditionally so that doesn't really work for me.

@MoodyBats: Ooh yikes a very long wait, I am glad to hear that your sister got to take photos though.

@Shampoo: that sounds like fun, what two bands did you go see? my weekend isn't over yet but it has been good yesterday I was getting the weeds like creeping charlie out of my mums garden. some we can plant veggies. if I have the energy I'd have a garden at my house but I don't. I am lucky if I can pick berries in the summer time, and share with others.

@MoodyBats: Aw-- I think 15" is pretty good and there is actually quite a lot of computer bags made for 15".
I can't find anything for my laptop as all!! How big is your tablet?
I had a wacom intuos large? I think I don't know. My dad has it now.
S_S"

I would wait for a 75% or 50% sale! I hear super awesome things for it!! Have you tired Alpaca fire?
I know there is a few other or even a older photoshop able? I think CS2/3?
I thought there was once a while ago but I am not sure if Adobe still has it on there site?

awww--

@Unicorn: I went to see Sayaka Sasaki with Asaka and ZAQ.
Then on sunday I listened to OPENWORLD play.

Sweet! Gardening is always fun! I watered my inside garden today.
My parents did some gardening a few days ago before it rained here.
Today was the first day where it wasn't raining in some way.
Do you have a big yard for a garden?
We are waiting for raspberries to bloom.

@Unicorn: yeah but it is okay.

@shampoo: Yeah. Large laptops are hard to find things for.
My tablet is 13.8 x 8.6
sounds small but it is NOT.

Yeah I plan to since It's somewhat expensive for the original.
I have but i kinda hated it. lol.
It had less brushes than medibang pro which is the sister program of Alpaca fire.
I am not fond of Photoshop personally since you'd have to pay a subscription and
that can be pricey compared to something that does a 1 time 1 payment thing.

For now I am just doing image studies.
Which I am sorta having fun with.

@MoodyBats: I just come to conclusion that I just need to make something myself XD;;
Doesn't seem small but not to big?

Wha? Really? Whoa that is quite news to me but I never used both for too long.
I had it on m\y old laptop and the tablet was a little bad...;/

Yeah the new version of photoshop is so stupid and I wish I could just have cs4/5 one time use but no I need the suite for work.

That is good!! Actually very good to learn from and you should mix in environments too and even landscapes/
I stuck to drawing faces and people and now I am sort of stuck and need re-learn things.
