@Dowan: Hi Dowan!
Nice, I need to workout >.<
I am good just working on some math.

@RainbowPanda: Haha, the hardest part is always starting. But it's smooth sailing once you try it out. =D

That's for working out at least. For math? I don't know. I hate math. I'm sorry you have to do it. LOL

@RainbowPanda: Oh man! You may have been overdoing it? O.O

Just a little bit will do it, and every other day is a good starting pace. ^^

Nah, no more sorrow for you. You can do it. I believe in your ability to math. =D

@mica: Yeah, I took a forced break from avatar sites due to lack of internet until my last phone or two. I was sad that a lot of them were gone. I used to love Varus and Kinsaki. Ernya was alright, but it did get kind of clique-y after a while. But the colors and avatars were great.
I really hope this place picks up! I'd invite my friends, but most are already here and the ones that aren't barely are on the other site I talked them into joining

@Dowan: Thanks! I could maybe use some help coming up with a better reason to be pulling characters out of their original worlds. Like...the author amassing a team to fight some evil which is destroying all the worlds seems a little to cliche and like a rip-off of Inkheart. Maybe a better general plot would improve my ideas.
I really just write for my own amusement, but it would be nice to finish a story some day. I also thought about maybe throwing my stuffed dragon into the mix just as a fun humorous relief character since I like to do rl photo adventures with him, it might be fun to make him a character.
Might take you up on that rp offer. But maybe not for a little while yet. The holiday season draws near and both my jobs are about to get insane.

@Kaderin Triste: If you're worried about an idea's creativity, just try and remember that -everything- has been done before. It could very well BE your interpretation of Inkheart.

What's important is the execution. How your story unfolds, and what your characters do and how they interact will determine how enjoyable your story is for you, and to everyone who might read it. Mainly because while anyone could take your base plot and spin it their own way, it would still be vastly different from your style.

Your little dragon buddy could very well be the mascot for the team, so to speak. It could be the catalyst for the team meeting up, or the glue that keeps them together. It could be a deity hiding in the form of comic relief, or a fragment of a greater being that saw the end of the dimensions in a terrifying vision.

There could be multiple fragments that found their way to the characters you rip from each dimension to signify their importance outside of just 'he's one of the characters.'

Sorry if I'm rambling. I tend to get excited when it comes to writing.

Derpy struts about proudly. "Imma be a hewo!"

@dowan: Thanks! It's actually been a long time since I felt this excited about attempting to write something. I'll see if I can't really fine tune some of the smaller details. Not too sure about the evil/villian yet, but I'll see what ideas I can think of.

@Dowan: and @Mica: Thanks for your concern! She was just getting spayed today. Vet called and said she did fine but she still stays overnight.

Meanwhile I came down with some sort of stomach bug so I've been down for the count today. Ugh.

@Concentricity: Oh, I see. That's a relief. ^^

Dude, I had my first stomach virus a year ago and it like put me out of commission. I feel for you. Hope it's not too bad. :x

@Dowan: Goodness, how old are you that you spent all your life without getting a stomach bug? O_O I feel like I get at least one, maybe two a year.

Donator Posted 7 years ago ( 2017/10/4 06:29:57 )
Stomach bugs are pretty bad, but I haven't actually had one since I was in grade school. I think 4th or 5th grade, but I don't really remember.

You guys are lucky. I think I'm just reeeeally susceptible to getting sick. Bad immune system and what not. My mother doesn't get sick often, but my dad does quite a bit. Genetics?

Donator Posted 7 years ago ( 2017/10/4 06:43:19 )
It definitely could be, at least in part, genetics.
I used to have a lot of tonsil issues, but after I had them removed, I got a pretty bad head cold, but nothing since.
Occasionally a slight chest or head cold, but nothing really severe or long lasting.

Never had tonsil issues ... thank goodness. I know some people who get strep allllll the time and I can't even imagine. I can't stand any sort of itchy, scratchy throat. Sore throats are the worst.

Donator Posted 7 years ago ( 2017/10/4 06:56:45 )
As a kid, I would get strep about once a year. And then in college, I got tonsillitis so badly that my tonsils (which were pretty large anyway) were so swollen that they were touching. I could barely eat or drink anything and I couldn't speak. And I had to go to the doctor twice before they would do anything. After that, I started having problems every 3-4 months until I found a competent doctor who actually gave a proper diagnosis (peritonsular abcess) and was willing to take them out.
