People are okay with you using patterns.
@Lina: I always use alpha hairs in my game. And I also retexture them. There is one person who asks money for the alpha hairs they make. I always download them somewhere else. And if I retexture them I always include the mesh. People shouldn't have to pay for that hair just to use my retexture.

I wouldn’t know how to retexture hair.
I tried on IMVU when I made items there, but it wasn’t good. XD
I’m going to stick to tevoloring I think, keep the shading it comes with.
@Lina: Retexturing hair is not that difficult. It just takes a lot of time XD
But doing just recolouring is good too. I recolour all sort of things. Clothes, rugs, beddings, paintings, walls/floors, objects.
@vengeance: I’ve only done some basic recolors. I haven’t even looked as build and buy modes. XD
@Lina: Paintigs are really easy to do. You just slap a picture on the texture part that has the original picture and done!

Maybe when I get to it, I’ll design individual rooms. 1 floor, 1 walk, 1 set of paintings

recoloring sims items is the same as when I recolored item for Voltra.
So it's actually a skill I have a million hours of practice with. XD
@Shadami: Making a painting set is like the easiest thing you could make for the Sims 4.

For real though, if I start downloading it's like a 2 week process. I get so caught up in it I never stop!
