@Koah: Yeah, but there's some truth to that. Dogs' sense of "theirs" can vary, I've noticed. Mine definitely bark at people and dogs that are in or near our yard. And any delivery truck within three houses of ours. :3 I'd rather have a neighbor who understands 'dog territory' than the idiot neighbor of ours who took his two yapping little dogs across the street and IN TO our yard after my dogs were already in defense mode... then proceeded to tell me that me and my dogs were in the wrong and a menace to the entire neighborhood ...

@Wildfire: oh my god. WELL put that way, I totally appreciate my neighbor now.
:0 I'm so sorry you had to go through that. I had one similar experience 6 years ago. My old male husky was still young, didn't listen to me whatsoever. So I had a family friend telling me I was training him wrong and I was abusing him. [Like what- definitely wasn't, if anything I was babying the dog too much]. But- I just told the dude to leave and not come back over if he had such strong opinions. So he called my landlord and complained about me. Even though I was pregnant and living 20 miles up a mountain out of town. e_e" I hate that memory.

This is exactly

@Wildfire: It's very lovely today, and it's supposed to stay cool for the next 3-4 days.

@Koah:

So my party are currently on an airship going to an enemy country. The airship is SUPER fancy, and has a casino. Well the casino had racing birds that look like chickens but aren't quite chickens. We've been calling them chickens anyway. Well my character wasn't cool with them being exploited like that, and decided to set free ALL of the chickens. Which some how lead to my party gaining 3 of the chickens. They are tough and can swim in lava and a bunch of other neat stuff. The DM's boyfriend named them Kukochu. Now I'm designing what they should look like, so another party member can make them into plushies. :3

what you think it is.

@Another Movie Addict: The creativity your party has sounds phenomenal. I assume they're trainable animals since they were racing? Or was it more like rooster fighting?
The name sounds like it fits! :D Kukochu!

@0v7: I feel that- our smoke is mostly gone, but for the last week, smoke was so dense that I woke up with horrible headaches and chest aches.

@0v7: I'm sorry. That is not a good way to start the day at all!

@Koah: OMG - some people just keep to keep their opinions to themselves. Young dogs don't listen any better than young kids listen. It's just a thing everyone needs to work through. I'm sorry you had that experience. And yeah, that now-ex-neighbor of mine was also ex-marine and went toe-to-toe with me in the middle of the street after I managed to get my dogs back in the house (I'm not a large woman). I'm so glad he moved.

@Another Movie Addict: Oh is it? Good! Maybe I can actually get out and enjoy some of it!
I did some yardwork this morning and didn't die, so that's a start, I guess...
And OMG- you have the weirdest D&D group ever!! <3

This is exactly

@Koah: There are a lot of artists in my party actually. We've all made some bit of fanart here and there of the campaign. Like a lot of us had big art blocks here recently too. But the game has been giving us inspiration to finally make things.

A friend drew this from our one year anniversary session Saturday night. Lol we decided to have a beach episode, and ended up fighting a toddler Cthulhu. This is his character giving the toddler back to papa Cthulhu.

@Wildfire: We really really do. Like my bard is about to start multiclassing warlock to make even more mischief.

what you think it is.

@Koah: I'm so glad smoke probably won't make it's way over to my state TwT I hope the smoke there is a lil better today!!

@Wildfire: My headache's probably from lack of caffeine - so I'm sipping some yerba mate to ease it a bit.

@Wildfire: I love marines. But I lived on a marine corps base and got to know them in my early adult years. My husband was a marine. XD
I would not want to be on the receiving end of a pissed off marine, especially a drunk one.
@Another Movie Addict: HA! OMG! For REAL! YOUR GROUP IS AMAZING. You're lucky! My last group, there were 3 creative people who made the party fun, the other 4 people lacked enthusiasm and know-how. Kind of a dud group, had a few sessions and it ended.

@0v7: Smoke cleared from a 10-minute downpour we had a couple of days ago. Our town made the news for the worst air quality in the world. I hope you guys don't get the smoke, it's thinned out some from what I see on the air-flow map. For Now, We don't have smoke, but I see it up on the mountain hillsides.

@Koah: It's good that it cleared up!! Maybe it won't be so bad when it comes back, now that some of it's cleared up by rain :0
I don't think I'll get smoke, I live in Oklahoma - pretty far away from either coast =v=

@0v7: my folks up in North Dakota sent me a photo of the sun turned orange from the west coast fires. I'm in a west coast state, but not near the water.
I've never been to Oklahoma.

@Koah: Oh, usually I love marines/military too, but this guy towered over me and thought he was all types of intimidating to the poor little woman getting in my face like that only to have me not move an inch. LOL. I found it amusing. After I got over his arrogance, attitude and generally being an ass. I'm glad he's gone. ANYWAY, the new neighbors are nicer. :3

I'm glad the smoke has cleared for you.

@0v7: hopefully the tea will help.

@Koah: I wonder what the sun looks like here... Oklahoma has unpredictable weather, and also tornadoes. This year's just been hot though, not much rain, not many tornadoes thankfully TwT I remember one year I had to go to our storm shelter like, 10 times in the span of 2 months.

@Wildfire: I'm the same when it comes to people trying to intimidate me - I've had people try to scare me and I just look at them like, "okay, now what?" It probably helps that nothing really scares me anymore. Except for spiders. Spiders are horrible.

@0v7: Yeah. People try to be nice when you call them to clarify or whatever but it's still like "why can't we do this right ... the first time? why am I having to call you about this?" LOL.

Ok, so I'm in a weird mood, obviously, and it seems like I've chased everyone away so QUESTION TIME!

@Wildfire: I still can't believe I had to call my insurance like, 6 times one week just to get a definitive answer on if this certain clinic is covered or not - the answer was, "check the doctor/provider search". Why did it take 6 phone calls to get that as an answer T_T

What's your favorite part of Fall??
Pumpkin spice food, Halloween, cooler temperatures... and Dia de Muertos!

Do you do anything to acknowledge the Fall Equinox (tomorrow)?
I haven't done anything for the Fall Equinox since I was a kid :0 I wonder what I could do..
