@Totalanimefan: Yeah. For me, it depends on what woke me up and how much sleep I've had... I think. I dunno. My sleep has been weird the last couple of years. But this -with that annoying as hell alarm noise- definitely woke me up. There was no going back to sleep... especially after trying to research wtf it was about. XD

@Totalanimefan: ditto... and ditto. And I know not everyone has the same attention span, basic intellect, etc., but there are ways to work with those things (especially these days) and still be thorough and professional... /shrug/ I dunno...

I am pulling apart a shelving unit and trying to organize/reorganize/declutter and I'm at the point where my brain is about to burst from trying to make all the necessary decisions on books, supplies, nostalgia/keepsakes, organizing, etc. I have a new box of sell/donate books now and the shelf is cleared (except for the top shelf which now houses books on languages (English, French, Italian, Spanish, Mandarin - "learning" tools/books, as well as literature, dictionaries, thesauri, other references), but it doesn't feel like I've accomplished much, tbh. I wanted more to be in the donate/sell box from this little project, but I think I've already donated or sold all the "easy" options XD Also, I have a lot of Shakespeare... XD

@Totalanimefan: ... yup... took a break, killed some monsters (video game). I'm kinda ready for the "weekend" to be here too actually, although for me that usually means being busier than usual because other people are now out of work and tend to kidnap me (which is not a bad thing).

My weekend was me consistently napping a lot and staying in bed. I wasn't particularly sick but not too energetic since I kept waking up several times at night because of my itchy throat, which is a lot better now.
@Totalanimefan: Oh my :o I didn't know those two connected! But then again several days ago I did have a smol ear ache on my left ear while I had a sore throat. But it went away like an hour later.

@Totalanimefan: Ouch - I'm sorry to hear about the background prompting the change of address for your sister, but you seem excited to have her living with you, so that's good at least. My weekend was fine, thanks - got roped in to sitting with a friend at a craft fair thing all day Saturday and felt half asleep all day, despite four (yes, 4!!!) cups of coffee. Did an errand or two with hubby on Sunday and sat around "recovering" most of the day XD. Yesterday ... errr... Well, yesterday I went shopping for a new bathing suit. And that says about all that needs to be said :/ Today I have a couple of things that I should probably take care of. We'll see if that actually happens. :|

@Totalanimefan: the sudden and unannounced change of plans sounds absolutely on the mark for abusers like that - they like to keep their victims on their toes!! I really hope all goes well for your sister over the next couple of days - it could be critical timing, tbh.
It sounds like things might be a little cramped for a short time, but that it'll be temporary. And all said and done, I'd rather deal with slightly cramped quarters for a little while knowing that somebody I care about is safe and secure. :3 I'm sure you feel the same.

The bathing suit was $54 each piece (tankini)... at JCPenney. It's not like I was shopping at a high-end or specialty store, or looking for anything fancy... and c'mon... I'm in FLORIDA! Beaches, pools, water sports... they're kinda everything here, as I know you know. At these prices, people are gonna start skinny-dipping ... and nobody wants to see that! XD

People like this ex can be highly unpredictable though, so again, I wish you guys luck - especially over the next day or so.

Saturday with friends. That sounds good :3 My Saturday is turning in to laundry, reading, watching hubby play video games, and other random sh*t. XD ... and dodging rain (& dealing with dogs who hate storms), because apparently, suddenly, it's that time of year again.
Tomorrow... I'm not sure what to expect at this point actually. We have no solid plans, and I think the weather is supposed to still be rainy and stormy, so... who knows /shrug/
