@Wildfire: That makes sense to me, and I'm sure it helps a lot! I don't really have any spaces to put boards without putting holes in the walls, which I'd prefer not to do. Oh wait, Command Hooks are a thing...I may need to look into that lol.

@sunny: Yes, I always liked that idea of planting the tree after you're done using it for the holiday. I don't think the traditional christmas trees would survive very well here, though - the soil and environment is very different! (We have different kinds of pine trees that grow here, instead of the ones you usually think of)

@purpsy: There are a couple of other avatar sites that I know of that tend to have an older more mature crowd.

@Aisukohi: Yeah. just seeing how painting hair works so i can try to finish this study
since it turned out a lot better than expected and overall
get better with painting digitally.

i would love to try traditional painting mediums like design gouache tho.
but my drawings traditionally...are awful.

so im just watching speed paints so i can maybe finish this study and try to incorporate what i learn
into my art.

@Wildfire: Gotcha. I think I'll stick with the Command Hooks and boards, if only because I don't want to take the chance that a giant sticker will do paint damage lol.

@MoodyB: Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. I've never played with gouache, but it looks fun. I feel like I'm better with traditional art than digital, but I get the feeling it has to do with the grip of the pencil (or whatever media).

I may disappear here in a bit since I've gotta get ready to go to my parents'. Gonna pick up a cake and candles for my mom's birthday. <3

@Aisukohi: For me i suck at traditional as how i also hold the pencil.
I'm terrible at drawing super light lines and controlling the lines lol.

I'm mostly used to digital art as i've done it roughly for over 10 years.

@MoodyB: I definitely feel more control with a traditional pencil than a digital one. xD But I'll take some getting used to my new one (I recently bought a Surface Pro). I need to make myself sit down and practice more with it.

@Aisukohi: I'm in the same boat concerning traditional art versus digital - I'm much more comfortable with a pencil or something than the electronic equivalent.

@MoodyB: Uhhh.... I'm not sure about that unless you're doing really large drawings maybe... or maybe purely digital work?
