@Wildfire: Thank you, I think a nap will do wonders. :)

And well, if they don't have it, maybe I'll make one. I did actually finally buy pie plates at Christmastime! If nothing else maybe I'll make a peach 'dump cake,' lol. Nice and easy but should tackle that craving well.

So do you have anything planned for today or are you just waiting to see where the day takes you?

Btw, love the avatar!

@CooperationIsKey: Thanks - this av was fun to put together :3
Nah... I have a million half-done projects that really need my attention to finish them up (or to get them done) but I've been a little less than 100% the last couple of days (mostly due to a wonky diet and lack of sleep, I think) and I keep falling down rabbit holes on pinterest... and I was just reminded that I need to follow up with my son's schooling... Right now, I'm finishing my cup of coffee and I'll go from there. I definitely have things to do, but not any set deadlines or absolute urgency to get them done. Sometimes that's a good thing - other times, not so much - lol! XD

@Wildfire: Ah, rabbit holes on Pinterest. Those'll eat all kinds of time! And fair enough, finish the fuel before facing the rest of the day. :) And I get you on the deadlines/no deadlines; sometimes you need a deadline to get your rear in gear!

And now I have a chihuahua jumping all over my back (I'm prone on my bed using my laptop lol) with his plush rabbit, begging me to play. XD

@CooperationIsKey: LOL - yeah, pinterest is really really good for rabbit holes. I've stayed away from that site for years because of it, tbh! XD
I really should go and do something productive. I don't feel like it though.
Dogs are adorable when they decide it's play time! Ours are currently sleeping (well, one is - I'm not sure what the other one is doing)

@Wildfire: I go for ages without touching Pinterest, then I get linked there by accident and go down the rabbit hole for hours, lmao.

Toki is adorable for sure. And he knows it, lol. He didn't come back the last time I threw his toy for him though, so I guess he got bored.

@CooperationIsKey: lol - my dogs do that too... "play with me! play with me!! PLAY WITH ME!!!" ... *throw the toy twice* ... *dog disappears on the third throw* ... "playtime is over. Naptime!" (or "nom nom nom") XD

I was actually looking for something specific on pinterest but it keeps insisting on showing me basically the same three things, over and over again, in slightly different variations, and it has nothing to do with what I was looking for. Silly web sites! XD

@Wildfire: Well that's weird. Personally I get tons of recipes, especially Halloween ones. Which is great because I collect recipes because I love trying new stuff. But I do see a lot of repeats, I suppose, now I think about it. 🤔

Oh yay, looks like I do get to go to Publix (just got a text from roommate lol)! I love that store, they're more expensive than Winn-Dixie/Fresco y Mas but they've got so much better variety of stuff.

I think I'll make a peach dump cake, maybe. That sounds really freaking yummy right now. o3o

@CooperationIsKey: Yeah, it keeps wanting to show me recipes, which is fine... but I was hoping to do something else. I already have a gazillion cookbooks!!

@Wildfire: hopefully i can finish them on time.
it's been really hot which makes it hard to focus since i have to sit on the floor and get very fatigued by the heat. :vanora_sweat:

@MoodyB: Yes, heat can definitely make it a challenge to concentrate! I hope you can manage to get through it and to accomplish the goals you've set for yourself!

@Ava: Oh, I'm glad you're getting so many auditions - I hope they go well for you.

I'm doing an assortment of semi-random things... everything from digging out and reorganizing closets, to doing some weird little creative projects, to playing at making stickers, etc., to trying to declutter and donate or sell stuff that we no longer need...

@Wildfire: Lol, Pinterest is pretty darn recipe heavy. (But so many cool ideas!) Did you ever find what you were looking for?

@CooperationIsKey: I ended up falling down rabbit holes XD ... but that's ok, all in all. :3
Yes - there are a lot of recipes and crafts on that site!!!

@Wildfire: Lol! Happens to the best of us. :D

Instructables is another good one for crafts; they have really good instructions for all manner of crafty projects, from small arts and crafty stuff to big power tools stuff. I can spend quite a while browsing there, too.

@CooperationIsKey: Oh yeah - that's a good one too - I had forgotten about that one.
Right now, I'm just messing around, really... enjoying doing stuff with my hands again, now that I'm not so busy raising and educating my kids XD

@Ava: Oh, me keeping busy is never an issue. Usually, it's just the opposite with a lot of things going on and a lot of projects mid-process! /dead/
I need to deep clean my house too, but first... some decluttering is necessary. :3 I'm guessing that you're not a fan of spiders??

@MoodyB: ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

.................... I just got rained on. A LOT.
Ran to the store with my son - we were in there 5 minutes and although the skies were overcast when we went in, imminent rain was not obviously the case. It was pouring when we came out.

@Ava: I recommend one of these grabby thingies. I've relocated some spooders that I'm not so fond of touching (I think they're called cellar spiders but they've got itty bitty bodies and long spindly legs, and freak me out but I don't want to kill them) with 'em and it worked a treat.

@Ava: Honestly I got mine for a couple bucks off Ali Express. It took a bit to get here 'cause shipping from China but it gets the job done just fine. :)

@Ava: I hear ya on the being too busy and the benefit of having schedules to follow when those periods are unavoidable! I am usually busy with (or interested in/ involved with) something, but it's not normally a hectic busy ... this Creative Type needs the downtime and the space between all the Busy XD ... and it sounds like you do too. :3

I don't mind some spiders - like Daddy Longlegs. It's the bigger ones that I'd prefer not to deal with. I haven't seen too many recently though, fortunately.

+ @CooperationIsKey: OH!!! I have seen little bug catcher things like that in Target and Walmart and the Dollar stores, I think... they're often included in Spring or Summer time activity kits for the little kids! They are definitely a better option than trying to catch critters with your hands if you're squeemish! Good idea! :3
