I am very peopled out. But also I don't feel the need to celebrate this country.
I did sell a shit ton of the independence day items we had at the store. None of the food prep stuff, as I suspected. But we had some really ugly red, white, and blue toy sunglasses. One woman bought basically all of them. XD
It was an office party kind of deal. I'm honestly glad someone bought those things, we don't need them floating around all year. We didn't sell any of the flags though lol. Which is surprising.
Because people looooooooooooove buying the US flag. I am not surprised the spatulas didn't sell. XD
Yesterday we had a woman who bought like 50$ of cookbooks. Went home. Then decided to come all the way back to buy even more cookbooks. She leaves. Comes right back in and buys one more cookbook.
Oh! Now that's funny... And a whole lot of cookbooks! Do you have any idea why she wanted so many cookbooks?
Apparently they were all very valuable first editions. >w> That were being sold for 3.99. Lmao according to her she has at least 250 cookbooks in total.

Yep. lol Everyone needs a hobby. Had one guy come in who bought an owl vase we had, and apparently he collects owl stuff. His collection is up to like 30 or so items. Very impressive. I only have like three or four owls.
