"..." Uriel was silent once more, before lifting Aimee up in his arms.

"Come on." he said.

"You need to lay down, and have something hot to drink." he told her.

"I... believe I remember how to make tea." he went on.

"Would that be sufficient?" he asked.

Aimee just rested her head against Uriel's shoulder, just relieved to be able to breathe properly again.

"Yeah... I think so. Thank you, so so much." She said simply, not arguing with him on the matter.

He took her up to her room and laid her down on her bed before heading off to do as he said he would. When he returned, he found her seeming to be asleep at first.

"Hey." She greeted as she looked up to him, but didn't really move much. It wasn't hard to tell that she was, at the very least, tired. Then again, look at what it was that he interrupted, so to speak.

"I wasn't sure if that call would go through." She admitted, already starting to sound a bit better, as she carefully got herself to a seated position with his help - although she was leaning against the headboard of her bed with some pillows in between - so that she ould drink the tea and not have to worry about it spilling.

Uriel handed her the tea and sighed.

"Well, it did." he told her.

"Obviously." he said.

"And I came as quickly as possible." he continued.

"...seems I came just in the nick of time." he then mumbled.

"What was happening?" he asked.

"Chronic bronchitis." Aimee answered honestly.

"Sometimes... I have a hard time breathing, to put it very simply. Other times, I cough... badly." She added before taking a careful drink of the tea, knowing it could be a bit hot.

"Normally my brother can help, but he's stepped out to grab a few things, and I just couldn't contact anyone else. I'm sorry to have interrupted whatever you were doing."

"My brother was reaming me out." he muttered.

"Granted, wish the circumstances would have been nicer." he then admitted.

"But it's nice to see you again, regardless."

"It's not your fault." he said.

"You're not the reason Gabriel is miserable and angry." he told her.

"So don't apologise." he told her further.

"...besides." he then mumbled.

"I'll take his berating if it means I can continue to visit you."

"That may be so, but I do still feel bad about it." She admitted after a moment or two.

"Why does he hate me, if I'm the cause, anyway? He came and saved my life when I was younger..."

Uriel sighed again.

"He hates humanity, because he fell in love with a human in the past." he told her. "And... she was taken from him abruptly." he went on.

"That incident soured him. To humans, and relationships with humans." he told her further.

"And he hates YOU, because I'm getting close to you." he continued.

"He's convinced that the same will happen, and I'll be in pain. Like him." he then said.

"As for why he saved you... I... still don't know." he admitted.

"Something tells me that it's not something that will ever be answered." Aimee commented with a light sigh.

"So it really is best to not fret over it, I'm sure." She added, before setting the cup of tea down an focusing on not coughing too violently. Sadly, she wasn't able to completely stop it, she did end up coughing.

However, it was not nearly as violent or wracking as it would normally be.

And it wasn't hard to tell that it was because of what Uriel had done earlier. His mana was suppressing it, calming it down a bit.

Uriel just sighed quietly as she coughed.

"...that is not good, to massively understate the obvious." he commented.

"It seems like it's just going to get worse." he went on, before thinking.

"Wait, I've heard of what you have." he said further.

"It's... not a nice thing to have." he went on.

"At least what I did seems to be helping. For now, anyway." he went on.

"Good thing you managed that summon when you did."

"Is there anything you want to do while on this plane? Or do you need to just head back above?"
