"Breaking and entering her house is-" he started to say further, before pausing and sighing heavily.

"...yes." he muttered. "Yes, I'm coming with you." he told her.

"I'm too worried about Miki to care about the legality and morality of this." he admitted.

"...just let me get someone here to cover for me." he then said.

"Shouldn't take more than a minute."

She nodded before hopping off of the desk.

"Yup." she said simply.

"I'm just gonna go take a seat." She added before heading out of the area they were in, to the couple of chairs that were out in the entry area. to wait.

She was only waiting for 2 minutes, before Jake showed up.

"Right." he said.

"Let's go." he told her.

"How we getting there?" he asked.

"Am I driving, we catching a cab, what?" he asked further.

"Because I am ready to go RIGHT NOW." he said.

And she could hear it in his tone. He was prepared to do anything to make sure his friend, Miki, was all right.

"and we both know that you want this done sooner rather than later." She added wwith a light chuckle.

"So please, lead the way to your car."

"Done." Jake responded.

They quickly made their way to his car, got in, and she barely had time to buckle up before he had started it up and they were on their way.

He wasn't necessarily 'speeding', but she DID notice that he was taking more shortcuts, driving a LITTLE faster than his norm, and overall just seemed like he was in a hurry. No surprise for her.

"...keep forgetting you pick locks." he then commented.

"Makes sense, given the lifestyle you used to lead." he went on.

"You are a woman of many talents, it seems."

"I'm a goblin. We're all pretty damned good when it comes to locks." She commented with a light laugh.

"Seriously though, yeah. It's gotten me outta a few scraps." She added.

"I do wonder what's going on wth Miki though."

"Hopefully this will answer a lot." he said.

The rest of the drive was in relative silence, but didn't last long, anyway, before they pulled into the driveway of Miki and Tyson's place.

"All right." he said.

"Let's get to work." he told her.

"Try and make this as quick as possible, so it doesn't seem suspicious."

She just nodded before making her way up to the door. She tried it, found it locked, as was expected. She pulled a bobby pin out of her hair and stuck it into the first lock, the one she could reach easier in the doorhandle, and started to fiddle with it. It didn't take long at all before it clicked, and she paused, looking up.

"The deadbolt is going to be a bit... more awkward to get though." She then said.

"Any suggestions?" She asked, looking around. It was just out of comfortable reach."[/b]

Jake was silent, before looking around.

"...hm." he mumbled.

"Seems nobody's around..." he went on.

He then looked around some more, before sighing.

"Well, use me." he said.

"Seriously, I'll get down on my hands and knees, and you can use me for a boost." he continued.

"Just so long as it doesn't take very long."

"It really shouldn't take long at all." She commented.

"So let's do this. That deadbolt needs to be opened, lest we damage the frame and door." She added. After he'd gotten low enough, she climbed up and started to do what she could, grateful that the area they were in was pretty empty for the moment.

She was up on his back for about five minutes before they heard the lock slide out of place.

"Done." She said before opening the door and hopping down off of him.

Jake got back up and pushed the door open.

"Hello!?" he called in.

"Miki? You in?" he called further.

No answer. There was silence in the house. Which was odd, normally there was some ambient noise, either the radio or the TV. Unless she was sleeping, but... not at this time of day.

"...I don't like this." he said to his friend.

"Let's see if we can't find anything."

As they stepped inside and closed the door, she sighed.

"You check upstairs, I'll check down here." She said simply.

"And I'll check the basement, if there is one." She added as she looked around.

"For now, let's see if we can find anything for an indication as to where she might be."

They found nothing in the house. Nothing at all. Her kitten wanted some attention, so they gave her some, and made sure she was fed, and watered, before they left, making sure the door was locked behind them.

"Nothing." Jake said.

"Not a thing." Izea responded.

The two then returned back to the Unit, and Jake made his way right to to Hal's office, entering hastily when given the permission to. He explained everything, and how he was worried, causing Hal to sigh.

"All right, I will oblige you." Hal said.

"I wish I knew where Miki was right now." Jake responded.

Hal then promptly nodded, and snapped his fingers.

She was standing outside, by some rather large stone slabs.

"... I know the door is here, somewhere." She muttered, looking around. She was aware of how it was likely that those within already knew of her presence, but she didn't care. She was acting more on desperation to find the one that didn't drive her insane, than anything for the moment. Granted, she didn't know what kind of state he'd be in, but with the regenerative abilities, she hoped he'd be at least all right.

And if he wasn't, she hoped that she could just kill him, and he'd be good again when he revived.

She wasn't stupid or naive enough to just believe that would be good enough though. She realised that there was a very good chance of that not being the case.

However, she was still looking for a way into the lair below the stones, in the dead of the night, with naught but her phone to act as a flashlight. She'd made sure to not turn off her GPS, just in case she needed someone to come find her, but it was still something that wasn't super ideal.

As she searched for the door, she suddenly felt something. She felt like she was being watched. And not in the sense that they knew she was there and were observing her via mana. She felt eyes upon her.

When she looked around, she didn't see anything at first... not that that was hard, it was dark out.

However, her eyes suddenly pierced the darkness, and she saw a group of 4 individuals hiding behind one of the stone slabs as best they could.

They were definitely watching her.

And it was clear that they had been sneaking to get closer to her.

She just sighed, heavily.

This wasn't something she'd wanted, but she couldn't say she was entirely surprised. This was someone's base of operations. Of course there was going to be protections.

She wasn't sure if it would be anything too interesting though, or too much of a risk.

"She... she went to find Vanessa Encrae." he said.

"......excuse me?" Hal asked after a pause.

"She WHAT?" he asked further.

"She went to rescue Ty." Jake said further.

"Where?" Hal asked. "Where IS she?" he asked Jake.

"...Stonehenge." was the answer given.

"Well then," She started with a bit of a sigh, and a smirk.

"I suppose you and I are heading out to England." She said simply before looking to Hal.

"Or do you have anyone else in mind? Like... I don't know what the standard protocol for something like this is." She dmitted after a few seconds.

Hal was silent again for a moment, before narrowing his eyes.

"...I need the strongest agents I have." he said.

"I need my celestials... infernals... my spirits, my undead." he went on. "There is precious little time left, and we need to send in the biggest firepower we have." he went on.

"And anyone else that wants to go." he added.

"Such as myself and Izea?" Jake asked.

"I'm not asking you to." Hal responded. "I know you have a history with Encrae." he told him.

"...I'll go. To save Miki and Ty." Jake replied.

"And you?" Hal asked Izea, merely seeking confirmation at this point.

"I'd love to go, but I'd probably not be the best to send." She commented with a light sigh.

"Plain and simple. Someone needs to act as security for one, and for another, I'll likely be a liability. I'm really not much of a fighter." She added.

"Beyond that, I will say this much... it may not be the best idea to send the entire crew you might want to. You'll have to do this more smartly than I think you're expecting."
