Okay awesome. I hadn't clicked on the external links besides what the job descriptions were and I hadn't noticed in the post of it was stated. :)

I'm pondering applying for pixelist because I technically have some experience. I haven't tried pixeling a voltra item before to mimic the style so gonna see how I do trying that out and apply if I think I'm good enough. :)

I have a couple of questions about the Pixelist position!

1. Are the pixel item examples for the application to drawn in just grey-scale, or gradient mapped?
2. What is a good example of a deadline for a common item versus an item with more than one pose?

@0v7:

When assembling a file, commons are generally done in greyscale and the IT take care of adding the gradient maps. But while you’re doing the item, it’s best to examine the item in a few different gradient maps, so you can examine if the greyscale is to dark or light.

As for commons. They have no deadline really. Event and RIG Items do however have a deadline.

@KDA Drew: Ahh, so I'll submit in greyscale! Thank you!!

@0v7:
When we do rigs, a good example of deadline/due date time structure could follow like this:

Concept Sketches due - June 20th
WIP update 1 due - June 27th
WIP update 2 due - July 11th
Finished Set Due - July 18th.
The day it’s finished is NOT the same day it is uploaded to the site for release. This is a date scheduled so Admin can review the item for any tweaks necessary and IT can have time to upload the item.

For Events, they have a similar structure but they are smaller sets so they get uploaded pretty quickly. Ultimately, you sign up for what you think you can complete, not assigned like 1029329 tasks ahhaha.

@0v7:

Absolutely! If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask!

I’m still learning stuff myself as time goes but slowly but surely getting it down.

Just a tip Vozzy keeps reminding me of:
- Items should be in 3/4ths view

I'm fully using that guide that was posted minus the gradient map not opening for me >.< I don't have photoshop but I do have a program that lets me open photoshop files. but for some reason that one isn't opening.

@Shadami: From my experience, that .grd file only works with Photoshop, but I've just made a version for non-PS available.
Find the updated files you need under the resources spoiler in the first post.
