@sunny: That strikes me as odd. Yes, I know, different cultures and everything, but they're not really that different and I seem to remember my English grandmother (from England) making these things when I was a kid.
I couldn't find the recipe online, and you'd have to recalculate the temperatures but...
Ingredients -
1 cup almond butter
3 eggs
1/2 cup honey
2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
1/2 tsp apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp coconut flour
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cloves
preheat oven to 350*F
Loaf pan (recipe says to line it with parchment paper but I'll sometimes just spray it)
combine almond butter, eggs, pumpkin puree, honey, coconut oil, apple cider vinegar. Combine well
Add in coconut flour, cinnamon, baking soda, nutmeg, cloves. Mix.
Pour in to pan.
Bake for 45-55 minutes.
Let cool before slicing (about 15 minutes)

@Wildfire: thanks for the recipe :) I'm not a big Baker but it's cool to see what ingredients go into it. It does sound yummy.
I guess it depends where in England you are from. The more urban areas are more multicultural etc.

@sunny: That's true, but this was a few generations ago too... my grandmother, and she was in the US (she came here as a child if I remember correctly)... so who knows.
