Kiah paused a moment before sighing. He could see that she was worried about this as well.

"Because I'm your boss." Kiah stated simply.

"And I say that you're staying here to man the place so that at least one of us are here." She added before sighing, heavily.

"However, I realise that .... someone has to go, and the longer we stand here bickering about it, the more likely that if she's going to be dead, she will be by the time we get there"

"So do I." Kiah agreed before closing the distance and wrapping her arms around him.

"I'll be back." Was the last thing she said before heading off, knowing that one of the two needed to check and see how Peyton was doing, if only for no reason that they were both close with her. However, they couldn't both go at once, sadly.

Both of them just hoped that Peyton would be all right. If not, Kiah couldn't promise that Mira would remain as she was, couldn't promise that her rune wouldn't drop.

"I wanted to just check in and see how Pey's doing." She answered.

"... is there anything I can help with?" Followed a few seconds later.

When Nate said what he did about Peyton, he was able to literally watch her lifesigns darken, drastically and concerningly.

"And what happened?" She asked, her tone matching what he could see, which really wasn't good for her. He could see the echoes of the rune starting to creep everywhere, which really did not bode well at all.

Now, the question for him was whether or not he was going to answer that, and possibly send her over the edge to hunt out Mira, or if he would tell her to ask someone else - Sharp for example - that MAY be able to help.

"Of course Mira was involved." She stated, sounding almost normal.

"Just take care of her." She then said.

"I'm going to go make sure the whore that did this won't cause Pey any more problems. " She promised.

Kiah, somehow, managed to keep her rune contained, but she had no idea how long she'd be able to.

She just turned on her heel and left the wing, knowing that she needed to speak to the boss.

"I really hope you have some sort of answer..." She muttered as she made her way to the head office, hoping that Hal would be in there, and that maybe she could find out what actually happened.

Kiah made her way into the office as she was beckoned in and just sighed.

"I want to know what happened to Peyton." She stated simply.

"And I want to know where the bitch Mira is."

"So we have a mystery soul within Mira." Kiah stated blutly.

"All right. Point me in the right direction and I will tear that soul out, then we just need to figure out how to put Mira's back in." She added.

Kiah certainly jumped when Hal slammed his hand down. After he sai what he did, she was silent for nearly a minute.

"...... If she dies, all bets are off the table." She said, her voice sharp, but he could tell there wass till control there.

"I care about Pey too much. If she dies, I don't think I'd be able to stop myself." She told him honestly.

"I think I will be able ot bite it badk for now, but I cannot promise it will last." She finished with before pausing.

"And I do not care what happens to me. I would do the same, perhaps go farther, if anyone dared harm Ilias or my family. Peyton's basically family to me."
