The one in Mira's body seemed to seize up now... much like everyone else that this happened to.

But it was odd. Kiah was having... immense difficulty with this.

And the more she tried, the more she felt... something.

It felt almost like an overwhelming sense of... anger. An aura of sheer rage and vengeance.

It almost didn't feel... whole, though. Like this wasn't... complete, somehow...

She was the only one that could see it as well, and found herself unable to respond to Hal and Izzy calling in and asking if she was all right, and how the process was coming along.

The presence she felt then started to waft towards her, almost like it was starting to engulf the area around her.

And when it was close... she could feel it.

Uncontrollable anger. Rage. The desire for revenge. The feeling of being wronged.

The desire to kill Roxie. Or, seeing as that had been done, destroy all those that would attempt to bring 'justice' to her for doing so.

By this point, Hal and Izzy KNEW that something was up. This wasn't supposed to be happening, and they were starting to get VERY concerned for Kiah's safety.

"Damn it!" Hal cursed. "I did NOT see something like this coming!" he growled, before looking at Izea.

"..." he was silent, before sighing quickly.

"What do you hear?" he asked. "Or see, even?" he asked further.

"What is happening to Kiah?" he ended, looking inside the room again.

Whatever it was, this was not something that normally happened when the Fyrane used their rune. This didn't even happen when they were actively creating a link, or trying to, anyway. So what WAS this?

"....oh my..." Hal mumbled.

"This is NOT what I expected. At ALL." he said further, before looking back at Kiah.

"KIAH!" he yelled.

"Snap out of it! Pull back!" he told her, though he wondered if it was futile.

Kiah, meanwhile, had one-track thoughts in her mind.

Hate. Kill. Destroy. Get away.

Hal could tell that Kiah was starting to lose it. Her rune was fluctuating wildly, but each time it spread out from being retracted, it went out just that little bit farther. She was losing it, no question about it.

"Damn it!" he cursed.

"We need to do something, and we need to do it NOW!" he commented.

But what? What could they do?

"Izea! Make a wish!" he then said to Izzy.

"I wish Kiah would calm down!" Izea responded.

Hal then snapped his fingers, and his mana pulsed out... only to be repelled by... something... and causing himself to be knocked back into the closest wall.

Sharp just growled a little, and steadied himself.

"I'll be fine." he told her.

"But that means we have frighteningly strong mana at work here." he then said.

"...and we might need to evacuate. Fast." he went on.

"If she can't control herself, or her rune, then-" he started to say further, but Izea didn't hear anything past that.

Mostly because she suddenly heard what sounded like an extremely loud 'booming' sound... that was approaching at an alarming rate.

Hal cried out when he was stricken by the pulse, and looked over towards Izea.

"Izea! Are you all right!?" he asked.

Meanwhile, inside, the rage that Kiah was feeling had now ramped up.

A LOT.

She was practically SEEING red now, and was starting to boil over with rage.

It was almost like that pulse of mana had caused her to start to lose ALL reason, and she had to get out of there. She had to find the source of where that had come from.

Hal looked over and saw Kiah coming his way, though the window on the door, and before he could properly react or think about it, there was another massive pulse of mana, but it was then followed by someone now standing in front of the door. It looked to be a make with short, light brown hair, and he looked to stand at about 5'7''. He didn't look back towards Hal, merely flung open the door and looked at the rune spreading out and touching him.

"...right." he muttered.

He then lifted his foot and stomped down, IMMEDIATELY dispelling the rune. Afterwards, he looked at Kiah, and sighed.

He reached his hand out, quickly grabbed her face, and yanked the red mass that had gone inside her... out. He concentrated the pieces into one mass, and looked at it briefly.

"There..." he mumbled. "...and THERE..." he said further, flinging the mass back into Mira's body. As her body started to stir, he reached both his hands out, pulling that red mass out of Mira's body... and a clear substance, Mira's soul, out of the spear, before flinging them back into their respective 'containers'.

"And there." he finished.

"What happened?" she head an unfamiliar male voice ask.

When she looked, she saw the man that was standing there. He looked like he was caucasian, but had a tan, had stubble on his chin, looked muscular as all get-out, seemed to have nicks and cuts all over his arms and hands, and had a large scar across one of his eyes, seemingly causing it to be permanently closed.

"Long story short, the anger and vengeance of a God was thrust upon you." he told her.

"Also, fair warning, the fact that you're even lucid right now is your adrenaline." he then said. "Once that wears off, you're going to collapse and sleep for pretty much a day." he continued.

"You might want to find a place to be comfortable in the meantime."

He looked over towards Kiah, and paused.

"Nah." he said.

"SHE'LL be out for about 12 hours." he told her.

He then paused and looked at Mira once more, thinking about something. Before she could react, he patted her head a few times, and she felt an incredible surge of power run through her... and she immediately felt like a lot of the physical stress she was under... vanish.

"Now you won't need so much rest." he said.

"And... I'm sorry." he then apologised.

"All that's happened is... really MY fault."
