Before anyone could say anything, Vaeri's assumption was proven, as James stepped into the room about 15 seconds later.

"..." he was silent, before seeing Jun.

"Jun! You're back!" he said.

"Vaeri!" he exclaimed further.

"Looks like people are coming back." Hal commented. "Straight up coming back." he went on.

"Seems Ash is doing it."

Kaia just let out a breath of relief.

"Good." She commented.

"I just hope that everyone comes back all right." She added.

"Oh probably just some nightmares. Like what I've been dealing with." Vaeri commented.

It was at that point, James perked up, and started sniffing the air.

"...wait." he said.

"I'm pickin' up scents." he told them.

"...how many?" Jun asked.

James responded by lifting a finger up, and narrowing his eyes a little.

"...5." he said. "It's the rest of the troupe!" he declared, before looking at Kaia and smirking.

"And yes, I can smell Zae as well." he assured her.

"Heh, I'll bet Zaeva will be happy to see Kaia again." Jun chuckled.

"...." Kaia was silent before getting to her feet.

"James, what direction?" She asked.

"Off that way." He answered, motioning to the hall behind them. Kaia took no time at all to head off in that direction, intending to find the others.

".... She was surprisingly calm throughout all this." Yuki commented.

"With how much her and Zae mean to each other, you'd think she'd have been a broken woman."

"...I guess she had to try and remain strong." Jun said.

"You and Kaia were the only ones left, yes?" he asked Yuki.

"Yeah..." Yuki said quietly.

"Then surely she was remaining strong for you." Jun told her. "She was acting like a pillar, so you would remain strong and calm as well." he went on.

"That sounds right." James interjected.

"Tis what Kaia does." Vaeri commented from where she was.

"She's the boss for a reason." She added after a moment or two before pausing.

"Hey... James... can you smell my dad?" She asked, her voice curious, hopeful. For all she knew, he wouldn't have made it back.

James sniffed again, and nodded.

"Yep." he replied.

"He's there as well." he told her, before listing off the other scents he picked up, which were the remaining members of the company.

"So everyone's back." he smiled.

"...not everyone." Hal mumbled. "Not yet, anyway..." he said further, crossing his arms over his chest and looking uneasy.

"Eh?" James responded.

"Who's missing?" he asked.

"My cousin." Kaia answered from the doorway, having heard that inquiry, her arm around the waist of what looked to be a young woman with dark hair, gorgeous 'perma-tanned' skin, and deep red eyes.

"He's the reason everyone is back, and no. I didn't see him when I was there." She added.

"They're largely heading off to their rooms to just relax." The darkhaired woman then said.

"Not counting one." Kaia commented as she lightly pusshed the woman to the side and walked with her, allowing an almost elven looking man to step into the room. Vaeri immediately perked up.

"Dad!" She excalimed, making her way over.

"He insisted on seeing you, Vae." Kaia commented with a laugh. "Wouldn't go to chill or anything."

The man just smiled as Vaeri made her way over, and wrapped his arms around her.

"I needed to see my daughter before I relaxed." he insisted.

"But now that I know she's all right, I can go and rest." he said further.

Hal just nodded in response.

"I can understand that." he said.

"So... I guess, we should all just... try and rest this off?" James asked.

"At this point, it's all you can do." Hal told them.

"You going to be able to until Ash returns?" Yuki asked.

"... Gonna have to try." Kaia answered with a sigh. "I'm not entirely sure how long to wait, or what kind of shape he'll be in either."

Hal shook his head.

"That will be entirely unknown." he said.

"It all depends on how much mana the void dweller needs, how long it will take to extract, and... well..." he went on, before sighing quietly. "...if he can even make it back at all." he finished.

"I know it's morbid, but..." he continued, trailing off a little, before unfolding his arms.

"Regardless, I need to head back to the Unit." he said.

"Kaia, are you going to accompany me back to gather all yours and Miss Yuki's property, or shall I do so myself?" he asked Kaia.

Kaia was silent for a moment, sighing heavily.

"I'll come with. Be better to distract myself anyway." She commented.

"Zaeva, keep an eye out for Ash, will you?" She asked the dark haired woman.

"Yeah, of course. I'll be able to ID any Fyrane." She answered. "Don't worry."

"Thanks Babe." Kaia said, gave her a kiss, before approaching Hal.

"I'm good when you are."

Hal nodded in response.

"Let's go." he said.

With that, the two of them were gone, back to the dorm that she and Yuki had shared. With Hal helping, it took them about 35 minutes, before everything was packed up and ready to go. Hal turned to her, and looked around some.

"All right, I'll send you back to the theatre now." he told her.

"Let me know when your cousin returns." he said.

"And if he needs medical attention."

The two made their way to the dorm that she had been using, where they found a change of clothing, 2 notebooks, some pens, and that was about it.

"She wasn't here long." Hal mumbled.

"And with the flickering, guess she felt she didn't need much." he said further.

"But that looks to be everything."

"All right. I'm good." She then said, taking one last look around.

"And yes, I will make sure to update you regarding ash." She assured him.

"I wish to be back at the theatre." She finished with, knowing that he was going to be sending her back anyway, why not make it easier for him?

"Granted." he said, snapping his fingers.

The next thing Kaia knew, she was standing in the room she'd just been in, where Yuki and Jun still were.

"Welcome back." Jun greeted her.

"No, there's been no updates." he said.

"But we're being watchful while we recuperate." he then assured her.

Kaia nodded before taking a seat again, setting everything down on the coffee table.

"Yeah, I figured." She commented.

"It's a matter of waiting for him, I suppose." She added.

"I just hope it's not too terribly long... I don't think Aunt Rowena will take that too terribly well if it is."

Jun merely nodded in response.

"Probably not." he said.

They were waiting for another 15 minutes or so, before Kaia could suddenly sense a presence in the theatre. A familiar one. A Fyrane one. And before she could say anything, James poked his head in.

"I can smell someone new here." he said.

"Scent just kind of appeared out of nowhere." he went on.

"Seems like it's on the main stage."

"Thanks James." She said before heading off, grabbing a medkit - which included something for boosting mana - on the way, figuring he'd likely need it.

"Hey Ash?" She asked as she got up to the auditorium, looking to see where he was.
