@CooperationIsKey: there all very neat plants, someone in the uk told me that the mimosa pudica grows outside of there place, they said they'd send me some, but I think that they forgot, hard telling it is alright though. It is good that you have some aloe veras.

Air conditioners are stupid and we need a new one and it's freaking HOT in here and it sucks.
@Kory: No; roommate's regular A/C guy is coming tomorrow first thing to (hopefully) repair it. He thinks he can repair the freon link the other guy thought totaled out the unit. Fingers crossed!!
And we're doing our best to stay cool. Fans and in my case laying on ice packs lol.

@Kory: It was about 1:30am when I last posted. It's a little after 3 now and I had to give up sleeping because it's too hot; the heat is setting off my motor tics really badly and making sleep entirely impossible.
So here I am again. Sigh.

@Juliette: Well, I can't sleep and our A/C went out yesterday morning, but other than that I'm good, lol. Hoping the A/C gets fixed later this morning; I'll probably pass out as soon as it cools off in the house. But that's only IF it can be fixed; the other guy who's already looked at it seems to think the system needs to be replaced.
So I'm a little stressed, lol, but otherwise okay. I just had a popsicle at 4:30 in the morning, so. XD
@Kory: Lol, I have the spray bottle for my plants/isopods. I've kinda given up hope at this point; I have to be awake by 8 for the A/C guy since the access point to the attic is in my room. I'd get barely three hours even if I fell asleep immediately, and would probably be more miserable until I could pass out. So I think I'm just going to stick it out now.
That's not to say the mist isn't a good idea. If we end up having to replace the system, which will take longer, I think I'll give it a shot. :)
@Kory: So the Honest Repairman showed up, took a look around at stuff, and informed us that the guy who came yesterday DELIBERATELY SABOTAGED THE A/C COMPRESSOR SO WE'D HAVE TO REPLACE IT. So basically what should have been a simple fix turned into quite possibly thousands of dollars to replace the system.
Honest Repairman had recommended this company when he couldn't come out right away, so he's pissed, too. He called the owner of the company to have a "talk" with them. I don't know if anything will come of it but personally I think the guy should be fired and they should have to replace the unit themselves. For free.
Yeah, they thought they'd be getting the replacement job. Joke's on them, we're getting a barely used replacement compressor from someone else for much less. He's going to try to install it today, otherwise it'll be on Friday.
I don't wanna go two more nights without sleep, I want to slap the crap out of the guy who broke our A/C beyond repair. :C
I've pretty much run out of my more normal length shorts, so I'm sitting here in my short yoga shorts lmao.
Thank god I can finally do laundry tomorrow. I'd start it today but I'm too freaking tired.

And I might work on getting through my Halloween watchlist. I watched Last Boys early this morning, first one off the (very, very long) list!
@Kory: We don't have any wooden spoons (I know, sacrilege!) but I did lick the cheesy sauce off the plastic spoon, lol.
And I'd totally consider eating it out of the pot but we don't really have a 'medium' pot, only too small and kinda big and awkward to handle. But maybe... especially maybe when roommate is out of town in October and I can eat out of it without her judging me lmao!
I like campy scary movies, lol! Like, Lost Boys has a healthy mix of silly and serious. And I love the classic slashers--Michael Myers, Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees. I don't like stuff that's super scary and I don't like torture porn (no Saw, for instance). But over the top campy gore is fine (like Re-Animator--it's just ridiculously unrealistic buckets of blood, it's kinda fun).
@Kory: I adore the more kiddie Halloween movies, too, yes! :D Hocus Pocus is probably my very favorite Halloween movie, and The Little Vampire and the Halloweentown Series are on my watchlist for this year! I've seen bits and pieces of the Halloweentown movies but not all of them.
And that's odd, but I guess proof that people change, lol.

Yeah! I watched "Bob's Burgers: Full Bars" (halloween episode) last night as well as "Goosebumps: The Haunted Mask" (always a favorite) last night, and started The Haunted Mansion but was too tired to finish it so I guess I'll finish it today sometime. :)
Like... 80? Not counting the rest of the Halloween episodes/specials. XD
I don't know. I think I'm going to start on the Halloween series tonight though. o3o
Well I ended up finally watching The Little Vampire instead, or at least before, because a couple of my Halloween series movies are in a format that Google Drive's built-in player won't play, so I have to download them to my tablet and play them with VLC instead.
The Little Vampire is cute so far! I'm about halfway through it. :D
As for attention spans, I usually watch movies while doing other stuff. I don't have much patience for them otherwise, either, lol.
