@Kaderin Triste: That's upsetting. Wal-Mart sometimes does it and I know a few other places do too, but the best sales I've seen near me are in the Best buy. That really sucks.
@aellotyphoeus: Yeah, I hit Walmart when I can, but it's WAY out of my way to go there.
@Kaderin Triste: Here's what you do, you order things from Wal-Mart online sometime you know you'll be able to go, and have it all delivered to the store for free shipping. Then you get everything you need/want, know it's there, and a trip outta the way is worth it.

@aellotyphoeus: Ha...the only time I make it to walmart are on the last minute "hey wanna come to walmart with me?" invites from my one friend. The last one of those was....in June? And I don't get days off frequently enough to plan a trip.

Lol. I made a super long scarf that I was really using to learn a few stitch patterns, and I just kept going to make it super long. I forget, but I do think it is in the 12 foot range if not longer...
Man, I need to start my new project. I bought the yarn for it and everything I just haven't started it. Lols.

@apollo im burning: My first bookbinding attempt actually turned out pretty decent except the pages were/are slightly bigger than the cover pieces and I did pull a little too tight and rip the pages in a couple places. But it's not super obvious. Definitely something I would do more of.
And I get my rings mainly from The Ring Lord, and the prices are fairly reasonable in my opinion. Probably would be cheaper to make my own rings, but their prices don't kill my budget. Weave Got Maille on the other hand...
