I guess having a family you actually want to be around probably makes a difference. but if there's not some fun activities going on, decorating, etc i'm not likely to care about it much.

@Count Trashula: Halloween is my FAVORITE holiday! I love listening to the music, setting the lights low with candles and other mood lights. Decorating the house to the nines and back. Crafting even more things for the season. So much fun!
Also, the talk of Thanksgiving is because food is always a major part of any conversation. Topics always come back to food at some point. ^_^

I've never cared for thanksgiving too much my mom wasn't the best of cooks but I am kinda sad I can't see my family this year, I didn't want to take the risk of seeing them right before travel
