I'm not socially awkward at all!!! I always exclaim loudly in several stores and areas and I know how to have fun!!! I give out compliments randomly just about daily, I can be a real crowd pleaser, hahaha.

Often when I'm in public, I see people and I want to say stuff like "cool backpack" or "great shirt"
But I then I don't say it cuz I get self conscious.
I could count on a single hand, the number of times I've actually gone through with giving a compliment I was thinking about.
But I couldn't even count the number of compliments I think in my head without saying. :vanora_upsidedown:

@Rallaa: I remember this one time when I was amazingly depressed because my ex really made me mad as all get out and then this customer (my parents ran a computer shop out of our house) came up with a BEAUTIFUL blue shirt and nice nails, you know. So instead of staying a mope, I told her what I felt and she got sooo happy and said she loved my shoes!!! It was so fulfilling and I'm so glad I got over myself, hahaha. Then there was this time I was also depressed because of my ex (I think it's obvious why he's my ex, lol), and I got to meet the mail lady face to face!! She had amazing shiny black hair and I told her her hair looked great and she got really happy, and she smiled so widely and said thank you so much, that was great too. Then there was this time when I went to a mall with ex friends and i was giving out compliments like it was nothing all day, I even got to tell a couple that their baby was so cute, and he was!!! God I love my life!!!

Seeing people made more cheerful by a compliment is very fulfilling,
especially if it looks like they’re not having a good day.

or that they seem like a nice person.
It can be hard to judge, though, if they will take it well or not.
