@Unicorn: That’s good! I have a river directly in my backyard, and boy does it make me super steessed when it gets up too high. So I understand. x_______x;;
@Kozi: yeah I am glad that the river went down now I can understand why the baby fox was by my house nights before the river over flooded.
@Kozi: Yeah but the foxy was so cute and little, I wish that foxy would of stayed in my yard. But foxy is probably living on my hillside
@Unicorn: Then maybe his fox mommy was taking really good care of him.

@Kozi: Ooh I really do hope so, I am surprised that I didn't see fox mommy in my front yard though.
@Unicorn: She might have been hunting for food, or hiding. I know deer will stash their babies away, and then come back to get them later on.
@Kozi: Ooh wow, I wonder if maybe fox mum was trying to teach little foxy to hunt?
@Unicorn: Or maybe the high waters scared her, and she ran away? I'm not sure. We don't usually see our foxes out during the day here. We just see (or smell, ew) signs that they've been around.
@Kozi: well we saw the baby fox at night, looking for something to eat. but we haven't seen a fox out in daylight in years, it seems like they come out later in the day until maybe it is a little light out in the morning and sleep for a bit.
@Unicorn: Did you guys leave food out, or did you not want to encourage it coming around? We keep chickens, so we try to shoo the foxes away. (Nicely, of course, and without harm.)
@Kozi: we put out bird food, bread, fruit, and sometimes peanut butter on bread, or other stuff no one wants to eat. to help the wildlife when food is harder to find.
If you can’t say something nice, Don’t say anything at all!
@Unicorn: ~nods~ We used to do that, too. Before we kept the chickens. Usually stuff like the end of bread loaves, older eggs, leftovers, etc. The raccoons really loved us for a while there. XDD;; We even had a small family of them that lived nearby. The babies were super cute! :3
