"Procrastinators unite! Later! No, tonight! Nah, Tomorrow! Eh... whenever."

Welcome everyone, to Procrastination Station!
Where you can share all your procrastinating problems with absolutely no very minimal judgment. Lol.

1. Are you currently ignoring some very important responsibilities?
2. Has it been minutes, hours... DAYS?!
3. What have you been wasting your time doing instead?
4. When do you actually plan on doing, that thing you aren't doing?

Feel free to stay and chit chat while you continue to ignore pressing matters!!

I spent most of the day lurking on Voltra and playing COD instead of doing my school work.
I don't know why it was so hard to get anything done today. I just did not want to do it. D:

*However, I just now finished my work!! T^T <3
PRAISE THE SUN!! IT'S A MIRACLE! #BEPROUD

Ugh, having a super lazy day today. I only just got out of bed and its 3pm my time. >.>
Also, there's a growing pile of dishes in the sink.... but I think I'm gonna pretend they aren't there for at least one more day.
-Please don't judge me- T^T

Procrastination is life. I got so good at it in college that I could write a 10 page history research paper in one night.

The only reason I don't have dishes in the sink is because my boyfriend likes using the dishwasher!

So...i actually meant to post here shortly after I first saw it, and then I promptly forgot. :vanora_sweat:

I am putting off three sinks worth of dishes, my cooking for the week, sorting my old roommates junk from my junk, art orders in another site... I'm sure I could list far more, but those are the biggies.
Also I should be sleeping rn because I have a dinner in two hours. But the boyfriend is still up and already slept for four hours.

@AelloTyphoeus: Haha, procrastinating about procrastination. XD
Holy- geez! I struggle with just completing a 2 page paper in one day! ;n;

-teach me your ways oh wise one!-
Lol I didn't even think, I can just toss em all in the dishwasher. After living 3 years without one, I keep forgetting they are a thing that exists!

@blinkini: Just sleeeeep. All those things will still be there later and you can deal with them once you're well rested. c:

@Valyndria: It's a skill I had to learn it started with going from 2 page papers to 3 and so forth. The most important part is learning how to do the research quickly and effectively. It's easy to do the research once you've got your thesis set up. So the first thing I would do is actually right as the professor or teacher gave out the assignment I'd spend the rest of class procrastinating on the classwork and instead figure out my thesis. That way I didn't have to do it later. Once that was done, I'd procrastinate the rest of the paper until the night or two before it's done and then bust out the research and figure out what I was going to use to support my thesis. The other big helper is to figure out how to stretch out sentences, a thesaurus will be your best friend for that.

Procrastinating is a major part of life. Or at least for us it is.

You guys, I actually had a some what productive day! T^T -cries!-
I did a few dishes, did some laundry, (I even put it away instead of leaving it in the dryer!) cleaned out the dog kennels, and I got almost all my school work for the week done. And it's only Tuesday! I know there's a ton of other things around the house that need done, but hey- I did some things! And I'm pretty proud of that. c:

@blinkini: At least then they will be done! (Until you cook again. lol.)

So uh... I ended up accidentally locking myself out of the house- again. While it was pouring rain and with one of the dogs. T^T I had to go to my neighbors, in my smelly onesie that I've been wearing for days, looking like a hot mess with a dog who needed to pee real bad. I was there for a whole hour because the emergency maintenance people went to my house saw no-one there and left. (Like hello! Ofcourse I wasn't there that's why I called you! Lol) I stuttered a lot of my words trying to make idle chit-chat all the while sweating up a storm because their house was warm and I'm wearing my goofy-super warm onsie. AND! I had the legs roolled up so my nekkid unshaved legs were totally visable the whole time....

....Oh my God I'm so embarrased.... and this is the second time its happened!! T^T -please shoot me-

I'm going to immediately dirty them all. D;

Oh my glob, no! That's horrible! Hopefully you won't accidentally lock yourself out, anymore. I can't even lock myself out, because my only lock is my deadbolt.

PROCRASTINATION IS ONE OF MY STRONGEST TALENTS
No but really, I should be doing work for like... two websites right now, with housework on top of that, but instead I'm pelting the forums with my presence!

I'm posting between calls at work. So I'm not really procrastinating. But all the same, not doing what I should be doing.

@AelloTyphoeus: Oh, come come now, we call that multitasking! 8D Employers really undermine the seconds in between tasks, and everything that can be done in that time. xD

@Vii: Yeah, being able to do so actually helped get me the job, but it is an important aspect of procrastination. Being able to do multiple thibgs you shouldn't do all while avoiding what you should do. There's a wonderful art to that.

@AelloTyphoeus: Lol yes, that feeling of being busy / having gotten so much done but then you look at your work list and it's like.. nothing has even budged.. c': But hey if you look busy enough and keep active nobody really asks questions, right? xD

@Vii: Accurate. Luckily for me, I'm just taking calls all day so I can chat and do stuff in between calls. But once I get home, nothing gets done. I've been needing to do laundry for almost 2 weeks.

@AelloTyphoeus: I....honestly can't blame you. I used to live with someone who worked in the call centre for American Airlines and, though she normally loved socialising and chatting on the phone, it absolutely drained the life out of her. Pretty cool that you're able to take a few minutes in between (and I'm sure there are those slow days where you're like "hello imgur" amirite) but I could imagine not really wanting to do anything once you get home. xD
Especially laundry. Laundry is like the devil. Saw a quote once that was something along the lines of "Having an empty laundry basket is the best 10 seconds of the week" or something. Story of my life. xD that and the sink being empty
