We're making a basic jelly roll-based quilt. It's really simple but its my first quilt ever, and its for my English teacher's son (but its a surprise!)
Goin' pretty well overall. I made the whole top of the quilt so next weekend we'll add borders and the back of it! <3

XD Haha. It's mostly the mess that I NEVER CLEAN UP that really ruins it for me...
My mother in law are going to get into quilting together. I'm going to do the patterns and she is going to do the sewing and teach me until I can do it myself. We want to take over the family thing since my grandmother in law is predicted to pass soon.

Grounding in general is a shitty punishment IMO. It's too restrictive. :( You disobeyed your parents so they won't let you interact with your friends or engage in your hobbies?? It's awful and it doesn't teach you anything.
