"Whatever it takes for you to get back on your feet, so to speak." he said, as they turned another corridor.
"Girl's dorms are down here." he told her as they walked.
"You'll be given books and materials and such, and you'll want to familiarize yourself with the rules here." he suggested.
"Overall, you should be fine." he went on.
"Most of the kids here are pretty awesome."
"Whatever it takes for you to get back on your feet, so to speak." he said, as they turned another corridor.

"I should be able to find where I need to go from here." She said with a soft smile.

"I'm in the boy's dorm, obviously." he said. "Room 107." he continued.

Sierra chuckled as JAckson said all he did.
"Of course." She said with a nod.
"I shall keep that in mind." She added before pausing and looking at a page that she'd been given.
"I am in 129 myself." She then said. "In the girls area, of course."
"If you need me, come knocking." She added with a smile.
"At any rate, I shall bid you farewell for the moment. As you said, we will likely see each other again."
Jackson just nodded.
"Yep." he replied.
"See ya." he told her.
With that, the two of them parted ways when she was at her dorm, and he started to make his way back to his own. As he did, something came to mind.
'....hm...' he thought.
'There's something... different... about how she talks...' he realized.

They didn't see each other again for a few days, but that was mostly because Sierra seemed to be doing a lot more than he would have expected for one who had just arrived.
More specifically, he did see her helping out one of the teachers there with organizing the days lessons.
Beyond that, he didn't get a chance to see her and chat until he saw her in English class.
It was part way through, and the teacher was going on about something to do with Shakespeare, and he'd been keeping an eye on her to see if she could keep up with the lesson..... just to find that in the middle fo the class, she was sleeping. Her head was in her arms, and she was out cold.
And the teacher hadn't seemed to notice yet.
"..............." Jackson was silent, before he looked around.
He then leaned in close to her.
"Psst. Hey." he whispered.
"Hey! Psst!" he whispered a little louder.
"Yo!" he mumbled, nudging her slightly.

He didn't get a reaction from her, at least not until he flicked her.
"Ugh, what do you want, Jackson?" Sierra asked after a few seconds, but she didn't move.
"Because I'm tired. So let me sleep."
"You can't sleep." he whispered in response.
"This is class..." he told her.
"You need to pay attention." he went on, before snapping back as the teacher's gaze swept the class, looking over the two of them for an instant.
"Other there'll be trouble." he then whispered further.

"Covering Shakespeare and how there is a theory about how he stole most of his work, how the theory claims he was not the original writer, right?" She asked.
"Because I know all this." She added mere moments before the teacher spoke up.
"Mister Reid!" the teacher snapped, causing Jackson to snap to attention.
"Y-yes, Miss Pryde." he said.
"Pay. Attention." she responded, before going back to the board.
Some students snickered slightly, and Jackson grumbled to himself as the lesson continued.
"Hmph." he muttered.

"What? That you got called out, and I did not?" Sierra asked with a smirk to her voice.
"You are not surprised, are you?"? She asked. "I told you I know this, and they already know too." She added.
"Gonna let me sleep now?"

He'd heard the smirk in her voice.
He could tell she was amused by this.
But she did have a point. This was stuff she already knew. And knew inside-out. So... there was really no point in her paying attention to this.
He then sighed and watched the front, as Sierra got comfortable again.

Things seemed to persist like that with Sierra, she seemed to sleep through a number of the classes that Jackson had seen her in, and never got into trouble.
Until Science.
Chemistry, specifically.
It was the first time that he'd actually seen her paying attention in class.
Jackson couldn't help but wonder about this... but he didn't dare say anything in class.
Instead, he tried to pay attention (or at least fake it), and waited until class was over.
"Hey." he said to her when they were leaving.
"Question." he said further.
"What was with the alertness back there?" he asked.
"You sleep in all your other classes." he commented.
"Well... the ones you and I have together." he then clarified.

Sierra looked to Jackson as he asked his question, and they left the classroom.
"Huh? Oh, it is nothing more than the detail of how I already know the other stuff." She told him honestly.
"I was never granted a chance to learn anything about science, and I find it absolutely fascinating." She then added with a shrug.
"Therefore, I pay attention. I am here to learn, after all. Am I not?"
Jackson opened his mouth to say something, but paused and closed it in silence.
"I..." he stammered.
"Huh." he said.
"That's... that's a good point, actually." he admitted.
"What other classes do you pay attention in?" he asked her.
"I..." he stammered.
"Huh." he said.

"Mostly classes of this variety. Science, social studies, gym because I have no choice..." Sierra trailed off before pausing a moment.
"Of course, there are others, any are applicable when it comes to something akin to a test or exam." She added.
