"Then... why would...?" Vincent wondered aloud, scratching at his chin, before he got an idea.
"Unless... she's making THAT..." he said, trailing off, his face brightening.

"I don't know what she's making, but if it's noon here, it's about 6pm, maybe 5pm, there." She stated.
"Timezones, remember? So we'll head out a bit earlier so that we aren't showing up JUST for food."
Vincent was silent for a moment.

"I've holed myself up in here for too long." he muttered, standing up and pinching the bridge of his nose.

He then yawned, and stepped out of the study, making his way outside.

The next day, Hollie sighed as she slid a pan into the oven.
"I really hope this goes over well...." She said with a light sigh as she closed the door.
Vincent and Rowena were due over soon, and she knew that Hal was upstairs.
The question was whether or not her brother would... play nicely.
Hal looked at himself in the mirror, and sighed.
"Right." he said.
"The time is nigh." he muttered.
Meanwhile, Vincent had just finished his shower, had dried himself off, and was changing into some new clothing.
"Almost done." he said.
"Rowena, are we using your mana or mine to get there?" he asked Rowena.

He wrapped his arms around her waist, and gently pulled her close.
"Let us be off." he finished.
With that, the two of them disappeared in a small whirlwind, appeared right at the front door of the Remmington manor.

"Damn. It smells freaking delicious in here."

"This aroma..." he mumbled.
"Hollie... you didn't..." he then said to his sister.
"This smell... is it...?" he asked, trailing off some.
"Mother's casserole?"

"The same recipe. I've never altered it." Hollie answered with a smile.

I really hope this is a good enough bribe... She thought as she started to make a salad.

"It smells just as I remember." he commented further, before looking at his sister, and smiling.
"I forgot you had the recipe." he told her.

"Otherwise, I'll make my way to the den." he finished... which was where Hal was, and Hollie knew it.

"I'm gonna go sit!" the Fyrane called, leaving the twins alone. When she reached the room in question and saw Hal there, she just waved before sitting across from him. She glanced to Vincent and just sighed. She knew what the deal with this dinner was, and she knew that it could go absolutely horrible.
