@MoodyBats: that is also true, I might try and draw something later on. but right now my feet are so cold, that I am hiding under my quilt, well my boy cat snuggles my feet. and I am drinking ginger ale to feel better.

I'm experimenting coloring hair and watching youtube videos so i wont waste my tablet's battery.
but loving the flats. im using a piece i already finished to experiment coloring.

@Unicorn: Flats just means the basic colors.
without shadows/lighting.
I picked some colors like blonde hair and a sort of saturated but dark blue for the background.
I think it looks really pretty. reminds me of sailor moon colors.

@MoodyBats: that is very good to hear, and I can't color hair to well, I've tried to draw loltia hair with ringlets in the past a lot explained on how to draw hair that way but it wasn't a pretty site to see. I'd really like to be able to try again for drawing loltia hair with ringlets. all in good time I guess

I changed programs for like the third time since the program I draw on doesn't have a lot
of texture brushes. and with digital art, texture brushes are very much a necessity.
for me at least. lol.

@MoodyBats: Ooh wow and yeah photoshop always has a lot of texture brushes. I've used Sai before. but I've never heard of Krita before.

I honestly think I like trying out programs.
Yeah, i've had it for a while but could never find a use to it and i also keep having the mindset of a mouse user
where i couldn't use certain programs because most programs are made for tablet users.
and then i realize "Oh hey i have a tablet..I CAN USE THESE PROGRAMS"
Yeah i downloaded 2 free set of brushes by some of my fave artists.
There are so many and ahh! I love texture brushes.
Krita i feel is similar in some aspects to photoshop.
Like it has texture brushes and such. It's also free and it is a very nice program.
