@Khajitten: literally half deaf. I have no bones in my left ear and the put some plastic ones into it but it is a bit small for me now so they don’t work properly and I know a bit of ASL. I want to learn more and get certified in it. Sadly with each passing year I am losing more and more of my hearing.
@Roshan: Ahhh that sucks ;n; I was told if I don't keep my ear infections under control (aka try my hardest not to get them) I will lose hearing... this last time the doctor said she was surpised I didn't burst my eardrums because of it ;A; (I have very little feeling in my ears for some reason so if they hurt it's a big deal.) ANYWAY.... I ramble a lot, sorry about that.
We have an ASL college in town and I know the alphabet. I always wanted to learn but just never got to it. I've thought about going and becoming a translator, which the college teaches.

@Khajitten: I lost my hearing because of really bad ear infections. they kept prescribing me amoxicillin to the point that it does nothing for me anymore. I was seven when they discovered that the ear infection ate the three bones in my ear. i get an ear infection every time my tonsels get swollen and every time i get an ear infection my tonsils swell up. If they would have removed my tonsels back in the past then i would probably still have my hearing.
anyways yes! you should so go and learn ASL and being a translator will come in handy as well in any job cause you never know when you might run into a deaf person.

@Roshan: Ironically I can't take amoxicillin or augmentin. Allergic. But I totally get it, and I'm sorry ;n; I bet it wasn't fun at all ;n; And I never thought that my swollen tonsils could be connected to ear infections :O but that would make sense. I'm sorry that happened though ;n;
In my town quite a lot. I skate by with knowing the alphabet and then asking if it's okay if I write to them with said alphabet xD I'm sure they probably get annoyed with me though xD

@Khajitten: lol. that is ironic. lol. but yep they are so close to each other. i bet it got you to thinking about such a thing as well.
no not annoyed probably just frustrated since it takes much longer to spell out each word then it does to just write it down.

@Roshan: Lol I meant I sign to them if I can write them (at least when I was working) then I'd write them. Sometimes they didn't want me to talk to them at all xD I also know "my name is" and simple signs like sing, father, mother, thank you and etc
@Khajitten: lol. And I meant that signing each word with the abc’s can take a while and get frustrated. Oh I know some of those simple signs too! But yes some of us prefer not to bother while people I will admit that. Lol.

It's fine really. I spent the day replying to other RPs, writing sims literatures, cleaning house, and working on an event thread for another site that I'm a moderator on. xD

Well sims lits. Or sims literature can be a varying number of things...
Some people use just the worlds in the sims and inspiration from their gameplay to write stories but they don't actually use screenshots.
Some people use their screenshots and their gameplay to tell the story based on what happens in there game. Basically creating a storyline and actual dialogue for what they translate happened.
Other people use sims as a staging for there stories in order to illustrate their stories. But basically it all has to do with the sims games in some way.
I have. uhhhhh a collection of stories I've been writing since January when I was introduced to the community and I've been fully enjoying myself. It helps me get a bit of writing practice in for my story that I'm hoping to publish. It's helped encourage me as a writer because people love my stories that are "fan" based, which gives me hope for my stories that are original.
