Years later, Demitra had taken to shortening her name to Demi, and was in New Zealand. She was looking for a specific flower for her mother so that the woman could cultivate the seeds herself. Of course, there was no way to know if she would definitely find them, especially since the information on them was rather scarce.
After quite a bit of time of hunting, she found herself in the middle of a patch of florals, a large patch at that, and having a hard time breathing.
What she'd found herself in was a sign that what she was after was nearby, but was enough that if someone was there for more than five minutes, they would likely end up dead.
One couldn't breathe with that pollen.
And Demi realized that quick.
She tried to use her mana to get out o fthere, but the fact that she was having a hard time breathing was getting in the way.

And it wasn't a breeze, or a strong gust... it seemed like the wind was whirling around her, and was closing in on her. It was also picking up the pollen and whirling it around her, but before she could really process this, things went black for her.
When she opened her eyes again, she found herself on a bed, in a cabin-like building.
"Hello." she heard a male voice say from across the room. It belonged to a man with his back towards her, as he seemed to be preparing a drink.
"Lucky I happened to come along when I did." he told her. "You were almost dead."
And it wasn't a breeze, or a strong gust... it seemed like the wind was whirling around her, and was closing in on her. It was also picking up the pollen and whirling it around her, but before she could really process this, things went black for her.
