I do that too with new critters, carefully of course. Never let her have any, but whenever I have pizza rolls I have to fight with Tiny. She adores pizza. -w- Eliot liked my coffee, so I had to watch my mug like a hawk.

Ozzy and Woezel both love pizza, so, when I have that, I never let it stand somewhere where they can reach
Tiny is usually pretty good about not stealing food, or sticking her head into your plate. You can eat right next to her and she won't care. Unless it's steak or pizza.
