Don't judge but I've been playing a decent amount of Pokemon Go! and I know its not the same.
As for actual game, I've been playing some Yellow, and I was able to get a Mew :vanora_smile:

I have a lot on my handheld, and I play Pokemon Go pretty casually, but I just can't get into the video games anymore lmao. I run tabletops for pokemon where I control everything and can make special shinies that are type shifted (most recently, had a fire/water blastoise that used steam and a poison/fire infernape that was a lab pokemon), plus just use fakemon that I can create from the dozens online. Going back to the standard ~800 is just so limiting xD

I have made several mixed fakemon myself. It is easy to splice them in Paint.
I wish I had a 3ds so I could play Moon.
So far, I just have my GBA emulator and games. They are fun. I even like playing the custom ones that are not original games, though I have found a lot of them unfinished.

I've been playing alot of Moon and Red- old version. I'm no good at shiny hunting though. >.>
The only shiny I had ever found was a shiny Rognerolla in Black and I think it was just random chance.
@dragoness129: Hey, Dragon! The answer is yes and no. The system, given that you play 2-3 characters at a time (trainer + 1-2 pokemon) means that low player counts are usually preferred, so I personally can't recruit for any of my games (I'm over my limit as it is~!) However, the system is a free fan based one with easily accessed source books found at: http://pokemontabletop.com/pokemon-tabletop-united-1-05-release/
You're always welcome to try and run your own, or else try to find a game that is recruiting on the forums--I think there are a few pbp ones recruiting right now. I have a friend who runs exclusively with hybrid mon and collects the art, lol

The last version I played and completed was Cyrstal (played all previous ones). So, I'm a tad bit behind. I was gifted Ruby, but only played a few hours on it. I kind of lost interest in that version when I learned I couldn't have the eevee team that I so badly wanted (No one to trade with).

I've been into Pokémon since it came out yeeeears ago! Every game has kept my interest lol. Right now I'm still playing Moon as I await the new games in November!

I'm still in the midst of playing Omega Ruby, but Moon is probably one of if not my favourite. Gotta love Soul Silver and Diamond too though.
