"........" there was a bit of silence from the group after that.

"Really?" Leo asked.

"Ohhh, I think I remember reading something about that." Lindsay then said.

"Dragons don't do dimensional or planar travel well. Something about their genes makes them violently unstable when they try." he went on.

"It's why some universes are completely devoid of dragons. They die out for one reason or another, and no interlopers can come in and repopulate." he continued.

"Well, that would make sense." Vincent commented.

"Ok, so who goes with Lindsay?" Ash asked.

"No!" Vincent said.

"No, no. That's... perfectly all right." he coughed.

"Look, I don't like this any more than any of you do... but Vanessa may have a point." he went on.

"None of us can go." he said further.

"Aaaaaand neither of the draydins are answering their phones." Lindsay sighed, hanging up his cell phone.

"...odds are they're in the middle of killing each other in bed." Ash grumbled.

"...Syraene, what say you?" Vincent asked Syraene.

Lindsay just sighed.

"Very well." he said.

".....mm." Vincent mumbled.

"I hate it, but fine." Ash growled.

"All right then..." Leo said quietly.

"Are we going to need the research that she mentioned to us earlier?" he asked.

"Yeah, we might need to pick that stuff up." Ash agreed.

"Well, there we go." Leo said.

"Suppose we don't need it, as Syraene and I are living research on it." he chuckled.

"....Hollie." Vincent then said to his sister.

"....remove Vanessa's shackles." he told her.

"We need to get this done, and we need to do it now." he reasoned.

"The more we dawdle, the worse things get... by the minute."

Vincent sighed quietly.

"I know." he said to Hollie.

"Just... I know." he mumbled.

"But there're greater things at stake here." he lamented.

Leo was silent, before taking off his cloak.

"Here." he said, as Lindsay accepted it, and it seemed to grow a little, almost instantly.

"Woah." Ash muttered.

"Magic. It's awesome." Leo chuckled.

"Indeed." Vincent responded.

"So what do we need to do?" he asked Leo and Syraene.

"Well, we'll need to enchant and power and actual doorway." Leo responded.

"THAT much I know." he said.

"Beyond that, we're following Syraene's instructions." he finished, looking at his senior Order member.

"I know we have quartz." Ash replied.

"There's a stash of them in the building." he said.

"Sharpies?" Lindsay then asked.

"Ohhhhhhhhhh you better believe we have those." he told her.

"Any other specifics?" he asked. "Color, size, anything else?" he asked further.

"Casey's an artist. If anything, we have an abundance of supplies that can relate to art in ANY possible way." he added.

"You got it." Lindsay replied.

"I'll be right back with them." he told her, before getting up and quickly leaving to retrieve them.

"I'll get the quartz." Ash said.

With that, he left as well to get what was needed.

Leo watched this happen, and then sighed.

"I hope this works." he said.

"I don't want the Order to disappear." he said further.

"Nobody does, Leonard." Vincent assured him.

"....and even SHE has a hard time getting into contact with Chronos." Vincent said quietly.

"Ugh." he grunted.

"This is a mess." he said.

"Hopefully we can fix it." Leo responded, as Ash returned with a bag.

"Got 'em." he announced.

"What are we doing with them?" he asked.

"Okay then." Lindsay replied.

"You sure about this?" Ash asked him.

"No." Lindsay admitted.

"But it's our best shot." he reasoned.

Vincent just sighed.

"Let's get this started, then." he told the group.
