Yes! Welcome! > w< We need more people to share cat pics!
Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju is a freaking amazing anime! > w<
And yesss, I'm a total fan of bump of chicken too! Nice how you put that up, Hadsie! O:
You've soo gotta watch it Hachi!!! It's the sweetest saddest anime/manga ever! The protagonist is sooo relatable. ; w; <3
Crying yeah... my roommate is a big sangatsu fan so I know all the songs bc of our karaoke sessions fffffff
STORY ABOUT RAKUGO THO... During the time that the second season was airing, my friend and I were taking an anime class at our university (crazy... I still can't believe that actually happened...) And one day the professor was like, "hey guys you should check out this rakugo show that the Japanese dept. is putting on tonight" and instantly Im like???? LETS GO????
It was too legit for my ass tho because they invited actual rakugo masters to perform and ONE OF THE STORIES WAS IN THE RAKUGO ANIME??? AND I DIED??? surreal....

Wow, that's awesome! I'd love to see rakugo in person! Seems like a cool experience! And that's so cool to have an anime class. XD Hadsie and I actually took a hayao miyazaki/studio ghibli course! O:

What Rakugo is! It's a oral performance. Sorta like telling stories. It's also like a one-person play too? The person narrates and plays each character in the story. And they always seem to have like morals to the story too. It's really cool.
Yeah, the course was fun. We watched several of the films and wrote about and discussed them. o uo

Aww. XD Get a hypoallergenic cat..?
I'm totally putting it on my bucket list. >:3
Huh, sounds interesting. I guess animated films are still anime too. X3
That's a hard question! D: I'm thinking it's probably Princess Mononoke, cuz I seriously looove Ashitaka. But I really love Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle too. What's yours? O:
MAYBE I'LL GET OVER MY CAT ALLERGY TOO??? like my kiwi allergy.......
oh yeah the films we watched were definitely anime films I hadn't seen the vast majority of them before so it was a nice experience!
The quarter after my class, they watched Your Name.... missed out
There are actually a lot of ghibli films that I haven't seen haha
But out of the ones that I have seen, my favorite is Spirited Away... I watched it all the time when I was a kid. I feel like that movie ages with me or something, like it changes meaning every time I watch it
