OOF HELLO a very late reply...
Metropolis
Royal Space Force: The Wings of Honneamise
They Were Eleven
Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind
Princess Mononoke
Time of Eve (series... but there's also a compilation film)
Evangelion 1.0
Rurouni Kenshin (errr... one of the OVAs, don't remember which)
Ghost in the Shell
Akira
Tokyo Godfathers
Wolf Children
There's one that I don't remember what it's called, but the story was like... bambi, except bambi was a sheep that had stockholm syndrome or something it was pretty dark

Oh I loved A Silent Voice. I think I've seen it... three times? a very good film the ending scene gets me every time. I'm a real sucker for redemption stories
And GOOD choices for music 👌
I haven't seen Fireworks either but I do love that song
Oh, I’m glad you found my reply. :’D
I think I’ve heard of They Were Eleven. What’s it about?
I rather enjoyed the Time of Eve series and movie~
I’m positive Tokyo Godfathers is my favorite Satoshi Kon film! > w< <3
And I’ve never heard of this movie about a sheep with stockholm syndrome. XD Sounds old.
I totally want to own A Silent Voice! I’d watch it so much! It really is a very moving ending. ; w;

oh whoops I forgot that we did a whole unit on WWII films AFDLKFJKLJ so we also watched Grave of the Fireflies and Barefoot Gen.
They Were Eleven is about a kid who takes an entrance exam for an elite school for... galactic explorers or something like that (spaceship pilots?). The test requires that the students be grouped into teams of 10, and each team departs for an abandoned spaceship where they have to survive/figure out how to get home. But when the group gets on the spaceship they realize that there's 11 of them instead of just 10... /plays dramatic music
AND DYING? I FOUND THE SHEEP MOVIE
here if you're interested
asflkj tokyo godfathers was good. I think Perfect Blue is my favorite tho
I'm so glad A Silent Voice is finally coming to home video in the states. Feels like it's been forever, I'd pretty much given up on it too
ANOHANA HUH? goddamn every time the ending theme played it was like.... instant feels. conditioned like pavlov's dog or something

Ugh, Grave of the Fireflies is so depressing. D:
Oh yeah! I think I have seen They Were Eleven. O:
Oh wow, it is old. XD I guess I’ll watch it sometime...
Ugh, I can’t understand why people like Perfect Blue. I much prefer moving, sweet films.
It really is a sad ending theme. ; A;

Has anyone watched The Promised Neverland? My friend told me I had to watch it but it looks very intense.

@Nemesis: Oh, god. We watched like the first two eps and I can’t really deal with it cause it’s too suspenseful and it seems to take them so long to escape. ; A; But the illustrations are wonderful and the characters are so interesting. I love kids that know strategy. It is a dark show though. Really makes you wonder if they're in another world or if it’s actually a future earth or something.
@Kent: Oh. Sure. Sometime soon or? o:
@Nemesis: Yeah, like Kent said, only watched the first two episodes.
I was definitely curious to know where it was headed and wanted more backstory but in the end, I'm not really into stories like that one.
Wouldn't mind watching the rest someday and maybe reading the manga too.
But I have other anime/manga I'm more into.

@Hadsvich: Sure, if it’s not too long. X3

@hadsvich:
Yeah that sounds too intense for me. The last "intense" anime I watched was Erased and that honestly took a lot out of me.

Erased was prime anime. I wanted to read the manga afterwards because I heard they had changed so much but I couldn't find it completed anywhere.
My cat loves the Airplane and the Thinker but my roommate only pets our cats like the hyper-space
