"Seriously. I'm more than a little shocked that I was found, but I'm not against it." She added.

"Cool. Here's my number." Abby said before she dug a notepad out of a bag she had and scribbling a number on one of the pages. She tore it out and handed it to Desiree, who accepted it with a smile.

"Thanks." Desiree said with a smile.

Jaden looked at the paper, and thought for a moment.

"Yeah, phone's probably best." he said.

"Desiree and I are on very little social media platforms, and even then, they're managed mostly by people we trust, and are usually just to post schedules and promotions." he went on.

"And we're not on ANY chat sites, or use any chat programs." he then added.

"That's more MY thing." Darrel commented. "I use most of the popular ones."

"Makes sense." She commented.

"Although, admittedly, I am surprised about that. One would think you guys would each have ONE that you manage personally, to give it a personal touch." She added after a few seconds.

"Well... I would, but neither Jaden nor Kalin want me to, so I just... don't." Desiree admitted.

"Was a time when I considered that a viable solution..." he muttered.

"Regardless, I know there are a lot of good people on them." he said.

"Unfortunately, the toxic minority are very VERY loud." he growled.

"I mean, if Desiree wants to wade into that mire, then it's her business. I have no control over if she does or not." he then told Abby.

"Kalin, however, miiiiiight have a little more weight with that decision." he added.

"Hey, to each their own." Was all she said.

"Abby, please. Keep in contact. I'd love to hear more about you, and if you have any issues with being a hunter with a mana based mother, I can help." Desiree then said.

"Yeah, I getcha. I plan on sticking around as long as someone wants me to. I mean come on, this one here seemed a biut put out that I was deciding to take off." Abby commented.

"So no worries. I'll be around."

Darrel was silent again, before looking nervous, and then speaking up.

"Wait!" he said.

"If you want to stay in regular contact, then it's best done through me." he told her.

"What chat programs do you use?" he asked.

"I can add you and we can keep in contact, far more regularly than through just texting." he reasoned.

"A valid point." Jaden admitted.

"Anyway! I'll catch ya later. See ya!" With that, she was gone. Once she was, Desiree just sighed.
