@Bonnie: My emotional state has just been all over the place. Another clash with mom last night.
@Bonnie: Been keeping my distance from her.
@DevilkinBoi: that’s really important. I’m guess that you have been trying to stay in your room as much as possible?
@Bonnie: Yeah, and with the door closed if she passes by.
@DevilkinBoi: that’s good. I honestly would lock my door myself. I would do that when I was upset with my family
@Bonnie: Brother leaves me be, but mom? Nosey as hell and whines when I lock the door.
@DevilkinBoi: yeah it would be opposite my mother wouldn’t be upset unless she really needed me but my siblings namely my sister would throw a fit.
@Bonnie: Mom's just...kind of selfish when it comes to me, I guess.
@Bonnie: People have brought it up before, but she just ignores it. "I treat all my children the same."
@Bonnie: It's obvious that the treatment is different, but good luck getting her to see that.
@DevilkinBoi: I hate that that happens. It’s emotionally damaging to treat one child differently from another
@Bonnie: Part of why our relationship is so rocky.
@Bonnie: It's why I tend to keep my distance from her. And I know this is changing the subject, but is it true some people are against voting by mail? Saw a friend of my mom's sharing a post about saying no to voting by mail.
@DevilkinBoi: I don’t see why that’s a big deal. I’ve absentee voted with an absentee ballot when I stayed on campus
@Bonnie: And with the current situation, wouldn't it be best to vote by mail to avoid spreading CoVid 19? What's the reasoning for the people against it?
Lucifer's Pet
@DevilkinBoi: a tad bit of irrational fear. I mean things are mailed all the time. I guess I understand that sometimes mail carriers can lose things but honestly I don’t see it being that big of a deal. Just fill in the ballot and ship it off.
