"I remember Sydney Sherwood calling me earlier." Hal replied.

"Said she needed people with good physical strength, and that she was dealing with one of the statues, too." he told her.

"And I have two employees that have... well... demonic strength." he continued.

"If I let her use Azazel and Miki... then we might have both parts to a solution." he reasoned.

"That might be reasonable." Hal agreed.

"It depends on Sydney's plan." he told her.

"Regardless, thank you once again." he said.

"This is already an amazing help." he assured her, before sighing.

"Is there anything I can do for you right now?" he asked.

"As in, immediate, short-term help?"

Hal nodded in response.

"All right." he replied.

He then quickly headed back to his office, and grabbed his phone.

"....ah, yes, I remember." he said.

He then dialled Sydney's number, and waited for her to answer.

"Sydney, it's Sharp." Hal responded.

"Listen, I have two pieces of information for you." he said.

"The first one is that we've been able to develop something that can track the statues." he told her. "Specifically, it's a serum that, when ingested, will let the one that drank it see where they are." he clarified.

"Secondly, you need physically strong people?" he asked.

"Will demonic strength suffice?" he asked her. "Because, if so, I have two employees that will do the trick."

"That will be entirely up to you." Hal replied.

"You're currently in a bit of spot with the statues." he said.

"So we'll work on YOUR specifications." he told her.

"Tell me where to send my agents, and when they should meet you, and it'll be done." he continued.

"Simple as that."

"Got it." Hal replied.

"....I'll send them shortly." he told her, before hanging up the phone.

He then pressed the P.A. button, and spoke into the mic.

"Agents King, Vierayen, and Az, please make their way to the R&D lab ASAP." he said, before hurriedly making his way to the lab, himself.

He arrived first, and sighed when he looked around.

"...let's hope this works." he said to himself.

The figure in the room was still and silent. It moved nary an inch.

And there was a good reason for it. It was a statue.

One that bore a remarkable resemblance to the ones that had been killing people en masse.

It just stood there, seemingly glaring at the woman with a look of hatred, pain, and horror in its eerie, blank eyes.

".....excuse me?" the man asked.

"Detective, you've been working too hard." he said.

"Moving statues are impossible. At least, not the sort of movement that was supposedly caught on those tapes." he went on.

"Kiczys is the only plausible suspect, and I don't need you suddenly believing in the fantasy she's concocted up." he then said further.

"I'll send Allen there to make sure you're okay."

"Uh-huh." he replied.

"Allen will be there in a moment." he told her, before hanging up.

And, sure enough, Allen did show up about 20 seconds later... and the statue still hadn't moved.

"All right, I heard that-" the blonde-haired man started to say, before pausing.

"....uhhhh..." he stammered.

"What is a statue doing here?" he asked.

"............hi." Allen responded.

"Uhhhh... right then." he said, making his way to his desk and calling the man that Averie had.

"Chief?" he said into the receiver.

"There's a statue here." he told him.

"....yes, I'm sure of it." he then said. "I can see it. It's RIGHT here." he went on, before sighing and hanging up.

"He's not happy, and he's on his way here." he told Averie.
