@SamSpyroxis: @Lunakiri: I'm usually a big fan of the "rage quit" style games, Mega Man and Cuphead and the like are my JAMS. But something about the way Bloodborne and Dark Souls play doesn't quiiite click with me. I do like Bloodborne a little more, at least. I might just have to get used to it.

and Sam - a small comic is the best way to start! It helps you figure out pacing and stuff too.

w/r/t Dark Souls.. I got pretty far? A place called Anor Londo. There's two bosses you fight simultaneously, a very fat monstery dude and a shock magic knight. They're called Snorlax and Pikachu by fans lmao

I HATE THEM AND I STOPPED PLAYING THERE. I realized I wasn't having any fun.

Beyond that? Well... I do like the beat em up style game it is. God of War is another one I adore, but ... at least that one I can play XD

I had to do some work, but now I return to find you all discussing Soulsborne games. This pleases me greatly.

I started with DS2 which I hear was a disappointment for people who played DS1, but I'm just now playing DS1 because its optimization issues were hell on my old comp which couldn't play many games. I'm hoping to beat it, but I've heard MANY horror stories of Anor Lando or whatever it is (forget the correct spelling) @Addy:

I'm a masochist who got through DS2 and DS3, though, and I'm currently stuck on an optional boss to get Platinum in Bloodborne. Hoping I'll be able to do that at some point without losing all my hair...
