@TeaTales: I find it amusing when someone who is so iconic in one role, is completely different in another role. Downside to that is Howl from Howl's Moving Castle will always make me think Batman. At least the English dub, since he's voiced by Christian Bale aka Batman.
The Ring gets a LOOOOOOOOOT of hype as being super scary, and for the life of me I can't figure out why. It was so unfocused and boring omg. I that's time I'll never get back.
@another movie addict: Havet watched dubs, I usually prefer to watch movies in the original language, but cartoons in Denmark are never in original language but always dubbed in danish so havent seen the english lilo & stitch. nor howls moving castle.
And I agree.. The Ring I didn't find scary, only a bit exciting at the time when they open the well... Then more dissappointment. lol.

@TeaTales: The sequels aren't any better. Though I have heard that the original Japanese film is a lot better and actually scary. I can't watch subs though, trying to read and watch at the same time just makes me crazy dizzy.
@another movie addict: oh yeah I watched the 2nd movie. Not sure what I expected... Was definitly dissappointe,s o was my sister ( we love to find horrors and scary movies we can watch together ) I watched the original with subs, it was times better I must admt, actually managed to scare me a couple times.
I know that feeling, I had it a lot at the start when I watched television w subs after my coma

@TeaTales: It's my dyslexia that prevents me from watching subs. Which sucks, since there's plenty of things I'd like to watch if I could. Instead I just have to wait for it to get popular enough for an English dub.
I love horror movies, but they really ever scare me or impress me much. James Wan has had a few that I really liked though. There's also a lot of popular horrors and thrillers that I just don't understand the hype. Like The Babadook. There was absolutely nothing clever or impressive in that movie. Everyone loves it.

@mdom: I can't believe it, we're the Redwood Forest! Our Giant Sequoias can't live in the sun like that!!!
It was only a one day freak heat wave, although yesterday was pretty hot too, but nothing like the oven that today was. It's 74 and it feels cold now, lol

Was just kind of interesting to hear, he was 91 though.
Yup and walked around in his pyjamas most of the time, surrounded by women who couldn't be older than 24 and who had to use drugs/have sex with him

Pretty much yeah.
Might be the only recent celeb death that won't be mourned by thousands.
