Huzzah! He has a date, so hopefully that'll get him out of the slump. My ex has to be in a relationship in order to feel worth while in his life. Stupid yes, but whatever gets him to stop moping around.
If he's got symptoms of depression I don't think it's fair to just say he's "moping around"...
It's not, I'm sorry. And he does, and I know that getting a relationship is just a band-aid fix. He needs help, and I don't think his Zoloft is helping.
Encourage him to talk to his doctor about it.

Mmm, once he's more likely to listen to me. I'm going to suggest taking something different. Did encourage him to look into therapy the other day. Right now he's so deep in it, that he doesn't want to believe anything will help.
Therapy could be very useful to him, I hope he'll take the advice and work on better managing his symptoms.
Problem is his sexism and his narcissistic personaly disorder (he legit has this). So it takes some doing to convince him he needs help.
