It's worth it, at least I think so.
AMA, from your description of RWBY it totally sounds like my kind of thing. xD But then I'm into lots of various genres of nerdy shows.
Well yeah the crying moments make the funny parts even better.
@superbearwars: It's such a great show omg. The show is produced and written by the same dudes that created Red vs Blue. And the show has come so far since season 1. You get really invested in these characters, even the villains. Each episode leaves you wanting to know more and more.
@another movie addict: I love shows like that! I mean, I feel that way about all the shows I watch, haha. :P I guess I wouldn't watch them if I didn't.
@superbearwars: Honestly I can't say enough good things about this show. The biggest problem is the episodes are kind of small, and they don't shove them together as one episode like Steven Universe and Star vs The Forces of Evil does.
@Another Movie Addict: Right, that's might be inconvenient for some people. But I totally understand having a show that you feel that way about--where you just can't give it enough praise! I already have like 25 different shows on my "list," but this is definitely making me consider adding RWBY to it sometime. :)
@superbearwars: You should. My only other complaint is freaking Vic Mignogna eventually pops up, and I have my issues with that voice actor being everywhere you can't escape him. Not even a webseries. And despite my issues with Mignogna I still even love that character.
@Another Movie Addict: Hmm, I don't recognize the name but I'm sure I'd recognize the voice if they're really prevalent xD I know how it is with like... VAs seeming to show up EVERYWHERE.
Eh in real life he's kind of a snob and diva. But mostly it's just that he's everywhere, and his voice almost never changes. He's always just Ed, no matter what show he's in. Except here in RWBY, it actually took me looking it up to realize it was him.
Vic is the dubbed voice of Edward Elric in Fullmetal Alchemist.

^ Vic's character.
Ohh, okay. Yeah, that's understandable lol. :P When a VA makes an impression on you as one character, you kind of want to see OTHER voice actors play other characters that you love, because... you don't want to see "so-and-so character X" voice "so-and-so character Y," if that makes sense? It's like... you can't un-hear the character you started recognizing the VA as.
There's a few VAs I have that problem with. But in RWBY he's not just taller Ed, he's actually the character he's supposed to be. Also RWBY is an American anime, so it was always in English. No rewriting for a dub. Lol no this time it was Japan who had to do that. But they a. call it anime so it counts and b. adore the show too.

@Another Movie Addict: Right, right. Speaking of dubbing, when I was watching Miraculous Ladybug I found it kind of weird that the lip syncing threw me off--since the original dub is French, the English dub is slightly off with lip syncing. But.. I'm used to that with English dubs of anime, so I was kind of surprised how foreign the sensation was. Maybe because it was a different style of (3d) animation, whereas the lip movements in anime are typically easier to dub?
@superbearwars: I still need to watch that show. It easily could be the animation style causing the problem. Since they have to count out the lip flaps while also reading their lines. Sometimes with 3D animation, it's harder to count.
he would let all the pets happen
he loves pets

@another movie addict: It's a very enjoyable show, but since I turned it to the French dub, my Netflix seems to want to automatically turn any show with a French dub to French automatically... which is very troublesome. XD
