@Queen of Trash: Yeah... good 'ol marketing, marketing, and more marketing. I haven't started thinking of promotions - and yes, I know I'm really late in that regard, but I also know how I tend to work (like this... with it sitting undone for too long), and didn't want to start promoting it until I was reasonably sure of when I would have it done and ready for consumption!

@Wildfire: I wait till first draft is mostly done to start promoting my book. Right now they just have to live off of the 2 books I have out now. And the story in the anthology that comes out on Halloween.

@Queen of Trash: Exactly what I'm thinking in terms of timing with promotions. There's really little worse than starting hype and not being able to follow up on it because life (or usually in my case, kids' needs) happen. It sounds like you have a decent fanbase- that's awesome! And congrats on your story in the anthology
