@eyry: one of the best things about cats is that they tell you how they feel.
I remember my uncle’s cat decided it wanted new litter, so it started peeing all over.
Not pleasant, but he knew immediately they were unhappy.
Dogs seem to just suffer silently, which makes it so much harder to know.

@eyry: I feel bad for my parents dog sometimes because it’s such a pushover.
I worry if it’s unhappy she’d just be like, “oh well”

@eyry: I think that’s how it is with pets, or kids, or anything you take care of.
You sometimes have to put them first, and make sacrifices for them.
Hopefully your fur babies are worth it though. ^^

I really miss having one. We can’t have pets in our apartment.
But we are all gone so much, it wouldn’t be fair to most pets.

@Lina: mmm I mean that's what a lot of people say, but he was definitely demanding a lot of energy from me after work because nothing stimulated him all day

@Lina: yeah he was fine in the morning (I guess since I'd been there all night and he is sleepier in the daytime), but after work was tough. he would not leave me alone.
