Ayla just nodded, but didn't say anything.

Angela sighed as she set her pen down and just rubbed her temples. She wasn't entirely sure what was goin gon, but whatever it was, was definitely giving her a headache. All the paperwork that she had to do with this was most certainly proving to be difficult. At least it was something that she could do.

"Ugh. This is a headache." she muttered, looking to the clock.

". . . wonder if Zeke's still working."

". . . the hell, Zeke?" She wondered before sighing. Hal had told her that he was taking off early that night, which was fair. She didn't want to call him at eleven thirty at night, as for all she knew, he was in Wales at the moment. It wasn't something she wanted to interrupt.

She'd mention it to him the next day, but for now, she had to go and see if she could find the nephilim she was looking for. With that in mind, she got to her feet, and headed off to scour the empty halls.

Angela was silent for a moment before pausing.

"The hell...?" She wondered quetly before making her way down to the hall to the lit room.

"Hello?" She asked as she knocked on the door lightly, wondering who was in there.

Angela paused before approaching.

"Hey Zeke?" She called as she neared him.

"What are you doing here, so late?" She asked

Angela was silent as she saw what she did. She had no idea why it was that he would be looking that up, and didn't want to try and figure it out - but she also realised that she had to. This couldn't continue, as that was not information he needed.

"Zeke..." She started as she grabbed his wrist.

"hey, hold up. We need to talk."

Angela was stunned, completely stunned, for about three seconds before stepped closer to him. She didn'twrench her wrist out of his grip though.

"What are you hiding?" She asked as she grabbed his belt loop, her intention to hold him im place for the moment.

"And why this personality shift?" She wasn't fooling around with this. If he was a danger suddenly, she had people to alert... and locsk to change.

Angela may have been a medic, but she was also a mother. She knew how to not back down. She stood her ground, at least for the first bit. Zeke knew she was tenacious, too.

It wasn't until he tightened the grip some more and she felt her hand go numb - even if she wasn't sure what from for the moment - that she finally let go. she didn't let out a cry though, couldn't. She had a feeling that she couldn't show weakness here.

A small part of her was sure that he'd capitalise on that weakness were she to show it, and she wasn't entirely sure why she thought that.

Before he was able to even let go though, she managed to grab the wrist of the hand that was holding hers, and stepping up close with a few quiet words that he missed. When he threw her to the side, he felt the slight burn, but when he looked... nothing was there.

Angela got to her feet, a bit rough with the movements before standingstraight and tall again.

"I'm fine." She stated.

"Give me the harddrive, Zeke." She then said before waving her non injured hand at the door, using the mana she had to seal it.

"Give me the harddrive and I'll let you go." She added, all the while knowing that she was NOT a fighter, and that this could very well end very badly for her if he decided to seriously fight her.

"You're the one acting weird, and as a threat." Angela commented.

"You're the one that was accessing files that you have no reason to be accessing." She continued.

"Copying the files, even." She crossed her arms, her expression serious.

"I'm not leettting you leave with those files."

Angela just crossed her arms as he approached, not stepping back from him.

"No. You can't leave with that external. You know that's against the rules, and you're not even allowed to bring one in due to security." She stated.

"Do what you will with me. I am not going to let you go without a fight."
