@totalanimefan: ooh yeah those are nice too, that was our second pick actually! My mom highly recommended the Shark we went with though.
Also to continue this domestic adorableness, my boyfriend and I went to IKEA today after planning this for literally MONTHS. He got a corner desk and a regular desk which we frankensteined into this beautiful L-desk, two bookshelves, and two lil end tables. I am keeping the table ON my desk (his old one!) as an extra shelving unit for now. And a bunch of kitchen things like a knife sharpener, new dishes, and aaaaaa god I can't BELIEVE I'm excited for these household things but here we are hahah

most bugs don't really bother me other than spiders who get up in my personal space but ticks are like, nearly paralyzing with fear for me x__x

I had one tick bite before but it was a big one, non-lymey. still a very unpleasant experience! D:
ticks are one of my biggest irrational fears tbh, i hate going outside like at all in the summer, especially at dusk/night when they're most active

@amber lynne: yeah ;w; right now it's not so bad, it's just a little tougher at night because all the kitties want to sleep on the bed and mine doesn't want to share space yet, but we're getting there! before she didn't even want to sleep on the bed at all

@kozi: it's not scary at all! i was a little nervous at first but the steam release is built to let steam out if it ever gets TOO pressurized. the only scary thing is that you can burn yourself on the steam so you gotta be really careful when you do release it but so far it's been good to us. :D

@amber lynne: not yet! she's really mean but isn't confrontational unless you get in her face and his kitties are both kinda wimps so they just run lol
I'm hoping she'll figure out that they're just big babies and chill out. For now she just thinks they're gonna hurt her, I think. she's coming out a lot more though and the door's been open all day. she's sleeping on our bed and they're kinda just leaving her be.

@octology: ooh! i am definitely down to try the mac n' cheese, i've been craving it for ages tbh. we'll also probz check out the cabbage rolls at some point! (next weekend we are making sushi with Instant Pot rice haha so it's kind of on-theme!)
(also yes we are planning meals that far in advance because sushi is an Endeavor, plus it's his birthday!)

I so rarely have breakfast. :vanora_sweat: If I do, it's a Clif Bar around lunchtime.
